There is probably more chances of seeing snow in Hawaii than there is of, you or me getting tickets to Glastonbury.
Damn it , Damn it, Damn it, yet again posted on their official website reels the sodden words, “Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival sold out in record time, with the ticket sale website and phone lines holding up against an unprecedented surge of requests.”
As the trail of salt-ridden tears remain on our faces, we have to open our hearts (yes we do!) to those who have a knack in purchasing tickets in neck breaking speed. So, for those golden ticket holders, here is what you have to look forward to (you lucky…)
Brace yourself for the diamante gem, Shirley Bassey, along with Bjork, Super Furry Animals, and the very hot music enchiladas du jour, Arctic Monkeys. Needless to say Glastonbury will be boasting a cracking three day bonanza. Legend Van Morrison, amongst rising star Corinne Bailey Rae are also confirmed and expect to see the MossPete duo , as Babyshambles have a secured spot too!
But for the unfortunate I will leave you with the solemn words of Micheal Eavis, "I’m sorry that so many of you couldn’t get a ticket to Glastonbury this year. I hope there will be another chance for you to come during the next four years.” Amen.
