The couple, who have made millions from their roles in violent movies, have also insisted that Maddox, five, Pax Thien, three, Zahara, two, and one-year-old baby Shiloh are not allowed to see their parents toting guns on screen, according to The Sun.
All six members of the family are currently in the Czech Republic while Angelina films her latest movie Wanted.
And she’s apparently told aides on the set of her new film that the children are not allowed to see violent props or play with toy weapons.
The 31-year-old actress made her name as trigger-happy Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, while Fight Club star Brad, 43, has also appeared in his fair share of violent flicks.
Angelina in bid to change son’s name - April 25 2007
Angelina Jolie has filed legal papers to change the name of her newly adopted son to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.
A legal petition filed on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court states the US actress wants to change the three-year-old boy’s name so that it will include "the last name of her partner" (Hollywood star Brad Pitt) and be the same as that of the couple’s other children.
The petition was first reported by the syndicated US television programme The Insider.
Angelina travelled to Vietnam last month to adopt Pax from a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage.
The actress filed adoption papers as a single parent since she and Brad are not married.
The pair’s other three children are five-year-old Maddox, who was adopted from Cambodia, two-year-old Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia, and and baby daughter, Shiloh, who was born to the couple last May.
Brangelina buy luxury yacht - April 12 2007
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie like the open seas so much they’ve decided to buy a boat - but it won’t be just any old vessel.
The A-list couple are spending a staggering £136 million on an Italian luxury yacht fitted with a swimming pool, a heliport - and a submarine - so they can holiday in true Hollywood style.
The yacht will be built in the shipyard of Civitavecchia, a port town north of Rome, by luxury shipbuilder Privilege Yard, which said today that the Hollywood couple has commissioned a 280ft yacht for 200 million euros. Delivery is set for July 2009.
The passenger deck will include two apartments, plus two guest suites. Other features include a swimming pool, a heliport, speedboats and a small submarine that will allow guests to explore the sea up to a depth of 1,000ft.
Brangelina have been known to hunker down in luxury resorts to escape the paparazzi flashbulbs - perhaps they think if they take to the seas they’ll escape the attention?

Pax Thien rejects new name? - April 4 2007
Angelina’s newly adopted son Pax Thien is apparently finding it difficult to adjust to his new name.
It seems the three-year-old, whose old name was Pham Quang Sang, refuses to answer to his new title and keeps shouting his old one.
A insider told Reveal magazine: "When Angelina tries to explain that Pax Thien is his new name, he simply shakes his head and points to himself, saying ’Pham Quang Sang’.
"She knew he was strong-headed - that’s what attracted her to him in the first place. But he won’t respond if called Pax and it seems stubbornness is a trait they share."
The Tomb Raider actress is apparently upset at the child’s reaction - because she spent so long trying to think up a special name.

Her family moved to LA when Angelina was eleven and she soon began working on her acting career, enrolling in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute where ahe appeared in several productions. Despite her abilities Angelina was teased during her time at Beverley Hills High School - far from being beautiful and popular she was skinny, with glasses and braces and wore second hand clothes. At 14 she dropped out of theatre classes, harbouring dreams of becoming a funeral director, and began cutting herself. Angelina began a rebellious period of her life, moving out of home and in with her boyfriend.
At around the same time she was taken on by Finesse Model Management and took jobs in the US and Europe, she also appeared in several music videos for the likes of Meat Loaf and Lenny Kravitz. Then, at 16, she returned to acting and rekindled her relationship with her father. She appeared in several of her brother’s student films before, in 1993 she was offered a role in sci-fi flick Cyborg 2. Several equally poor productions followed before Angelina landed a role in Hackers, which was a cult hit and threw the actress in the direction of Jonny Lee Miller, whom she would soon marry.
Little known films such as Foxfire and Mojave Moon followed but it was the Golden Globe winning George Wallace that got Angelina noticed and Pushing Tin, which co-starred Billy Bob Thornton and The Bone Collector helped her on her way to global stardom. However it was her part as messed up teenager Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted which won her her place on the Hollywood walk of fame. The role won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress as well as several other accolades.
Action movies Gone In 60 Seconds and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider followed and made sure Angelina was admired the world over by men and women alike. Meanwhile her personal life became just as fascinating than her on screen performances. Having divorced Jonny Lee Miller she married Pushing Tin costar Billy Bob Thornton, famously they wore vials of blood around their neck, however in 2003 they also divorced despite having adopted a Cambodian orphan, Maddox. At the same time she admitted she had had a relationship with a female costar on the set of Foxfire. Meanwhile she continued with her now much publicised humanitarian work, as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN and her film career, appearing in Alexander and Taking Lies among others.
In 2005 Angelina took a leading role in Mr & Mrs Smith, opposite Brad Pitt. Although the movie itself was widely panned the burgeoning relationship between Angelina and Brad, who was at the time in the process of splitting from Jennifer Aniston, made sure it was a hit. The relationship was also a success, in January 2006 Angelina announced that she was pregnant, just months after adopting second child, Ethiopian Zahara, she gave birth to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Angelina has confirmed that she is working on a screen adaptation of Beowulf, A Mighty Heart and Atlas Shrugged.
