Only 6% wanted reformed Take That star Gary Barlow to relight their fire.
Married couple Katie Price and Peter Andre, who have released a Christmas single, fared even worse with 3.4%.
Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole was last with just 3.3% of the vote.
Was Gavin left out in the cold? - Dec 20 2006
Is there more trouble in paradise for Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson?
Days after reports they had a blazing row over when to marry, it seems Gavin has been snapped arguing with Charlotte outside their Cardiff home because she refused to let him in when he was locked out.
According to the Daily Mirror, Gavin, 24, forgot his keys when he returned home from rugby training at 11.30am and Charlotte was still in bed.
The singer and TV presenter was apparently furious at being woken up and would not open up the huge gates of their £500,000 house.
So Gavin was left outside in his rugby boots, pleading with Char, in front of stunned passer-bys.
To make matters worse, Charlotte was apparently snapped leaning out of the window to give him a piece of her mind in return.
One onlooker said: "Gavin looked very p****d off."
The 20-year-old Crazy Chick singer eventually relented and unlocked the gates to let in her boyfriend of more than a year.
This week reports emerged that the couple are rowing over when to get hitched, as Gavin is said to be keen to set a date next year, whereas Char insists she’s not ready.
Yesterday, her grandmother, Maria Cooper, said the pair hadn’t split. She said: "They are happy."
Charlotte rows with Gavin? - Dec 19 2006
Welsh warbler Charlotte Church has reportedly had a row with her boyfriend Gavin Henson - over the couple’s wedding plans.
The smitten pair are hoping to tie the knot at some point, but apparently can’t agree on a date.
The 24-year-old rugby ace is keen to marry next year says the Daily Star, but Charlotte, 20, thinks she is too young to settle down.
The paper also claims the spiky-haired athlete is distressed at the amount of time Charlotte spends away from their Cardiff home, because she is filming The Charlotte Church Show.
The former Voice Of An Angel scooped a British Comedy Award for the show last week.
"Gavin is really proud of Charlotte winning her award in the week. He loves her show and is so chuffed for her but also doesn’t want to lose her to her burgeoning career," an insider is quoted by the paper as saying.
"She’s been really settled of late. She doesn’t drink much and they just stay in at home together.
"It seems like the right time to think of marriage for Gavin. And Charlotte wants to marry him but not next year. He kept pushing the issue and they had a massive bust-up."
Charlotte turns to big screen - Dec 14 2006
Just weeks after splitting with her record company, Charlotte Church has signed up for a new movie.
The songstress and chat show host has confirmed she will star in Bridge Of Lies, helmed by Little Britain director Matt Lipsey.
It is her first foray back to the big screen after her 2003 movie, I’ll Be There, flopped.

Five years later and Charlotte was making a name for herself at local karaoke competitions, and then...
"I was watching the Richard and Judy show on TV and they said they were looking for talented kids. No-one was around so I phoned up," she says. "The producers said I had to sing down the phone. So I did ’Pie Jesu’ and that was it, I was invited on the show. Mum and Dad were the last to find out!"
This led to even more television performances, as well as high profile concerts at the London Palladium, the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. "It all went a bit mad!" laughs Charlotte.
Now eighteen Charlotte has become a media icon. A ill advised relationship with ’model’ and all round bad boy Steven Johnson and on going arguments with her mother have put Charlotte very much under public scrutiny, but it has only made her more popular. Charlotte will turn her hand to anything these days, she presented Have I Got News For You? made a guest appearance on a dance track and even starred in a film, I’ll Be There. She is a chat show regular, openly voicing her opinions about fellow stars in a very down to earth way.
She may be one of the richest teenagers in the UK after coming into her fortune on her eighteenth but Charlotte Church is as normal as they come.
