An insider is quoted in the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Catherine sees Charlotte as a younger version of herself. "She thinks she’s incredibly talented." It won’t be Charlotte’s first time on the big-screen. The 19-year-old beauty made her acting debut in the feature film ’I’ll Be There’ in 2003 - but vowed never to make another movie because her performance was so "dreadful". She confessed at the time: "I won’t be doing any more films. I think I was quite dreadful." "I watched it and I thought, ’Stick to singing, girl, stick to singing.’"

Catherine Zeta Jones has been hotly-tipped to play Sue Ellen Ewing in a movie version of TV classic ’Dallas’. The Welsh beauty is said to be the favourite to star as the long-suffering alcoholic wife of leading man JR Ewing, but faces tough competition from stars such as Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez. John Travolta, Mel Gibson and Kevin Costner in the running to play JR, originally played by Larry Hagman in the 80s TV hit, according to media reports.

She once revealed she wants to move out of Hollywood to her homeland and is said to have told friends she is determined her children Dylan, 4, and one-year-old Carys will call her native land home. A source claimed at the time: "She wants her kids to be privy to the upbringing that made her who she is - she loves Los Angeles but it’s all so shallow."

The Hollywood couple are keen golfers and will put their sporting talents to the test when they compete on opposite teams in ’The All Star Cup’, a celebrity version of the Ryder Cup.

She went on to appear in numerous little noticed films and series’, including a made for TV film, Titanic, and comic book movie The Phantom, alongside Billy Zane. It was around this time that she was picked to star with Antonio Banderas in The Mask of Zorro and Sean Connery in Entrapment. These films would make Catherine in to the Hollywood star we know today.
In 2000 she starred in Stephen Soderburgh’s Traffic with her future husband Michael Douglas. When they married later that year there was much critcism of the age difference (Douglas being 25 years her senior), however their marriage continues to go from strength to strength and they now have two children, Dylan (born in 2000) and Cerys (born in 2003).
Between babies and awards ceremonies CZJ has made a real name for herself as a leading lady in films such as The Terminal, Ocean’s Eleven and America’s Sweethearts. She has also won an Oscar for her all-singing, all-dancing part in musical Chicago whilst also working as spokeswoman for Elizabeth Arden.
