Geri Halliwell
- Profession: Singer
- Place/Date of Birth: Watford, 06 August 2020
- Associated with: Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Victoria is probably one of the few people that are close to Geri. They have been through thick and thin together and the bond between them is stronger than ever. She was like a sister to her when she was pregnant."
Geri - who has reportedly denied Bluebell’s father, scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi, access to the child - is believed to be lining up Sir Elton John’s partner David Furnish to be the godfather. The 33-year-old singer has been staying with Elton and David since giving birth last month. Geri moved in with the married couple after complaining of a lack of privacy at her London home.
Geri Finally Names Daughter - May 23, 2020
Geri Halliwell has finally named her baby girl who was born on May 14. The star has chosen the name Bluebell Madonna after spotting the flowers during her pregnancy and because "Scarlett O’Hara was my heroine and I seem to recall she had a daughter named Blue." She picked Madonna as a middle name after the baby was delivered with her arms in the air "as if she was shouting ’Hello Wembley!".
Geri Halliwell has given birth to a baby girl - May 15, 2020
The former Spice Girl, better known as Ginger, reportedly gave birth via caesarean section at London’s Portland hospital at 9pm yesterday (14.05.06). A hospital source revealed: "The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine."
Geri’s mother, Anna Maria, stayed by her side throughout the delivery - which came a month early - but the father of her child, Sacha Gervaise, was not present. The 33-year-old singer - who fell pregnant during a six-week fling last year - is believed to have banned the Hollywood screen producer, and recovering dug addict, from being involved in her child’s life. It has been claimed that Gervasi’s lifestyle was so overtaken by drugs that he got kicked out of the band Bush after having an ecstasy overdose on stage.
Geri has previously talked about her anxiety at having her first child and revealed that she would call her baby Leonardo if it was a boy. She said: "I’m just hoping this child is more angel than devil’s child. "To think that it might one day be going to the equivalent of the raves I went to, or driving away my car without permission, just like the way I took my dad’s, is horrifying."
The father of Geri’s baby is a former drug addict - May 9, 2020
The father of Geri Halliwell’s baby is a former drug addict - it has been claimed. Hollywood scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi - whose baby the former Spice Girl is due to give birth to next month - reportedly spent eight months in rehab to treat heroin and crack cocaine addiction.
It has also been claimed that Gervasi’s lifestyle was so overtaken by drugs that he got kicked out of the band Bush after having an ecstasy overdose on stage. The British-born former drummer allegedly had to check into an exclusive Surrey rehab clinic more than a decade ago to treat his ?200 a day addiction.
A fellow patient was quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying: "It was mainly used by addicts for whom rehab was the last option. It was filled with hardcore, long-term addicts. "The only difference between him and a street junkie was that Sacha was born into a privileged family with the trappings of wealth."

In the 1990s Geri became one fifth of the worlds biggest girl band and has never looked back. Along with Mel B, Emma, Mel C and Victoria, she scored some of the biggest hits of the decade, made a feature film and raked in the cash through sponsorship deals. But in May ’98 Geri made the shock announcement that she was to leave the band to persue a solo career.
She sold her Spice clothes to raise more than $200,000 for a cancer charity, journeyed to Uganda for Comic Relief, was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations, and even got to sing "Happy Birthday" to the future king of England, Prince Charles.
Nearly a year after her departure from the Spice Girls, Halliwell released her debut solo album, Schizophonic, whose sound is a self-described cross between "Julie Andrews and Johnny Rotten." The album, released on Capitol Records, contained Halliwell’s first single, "Look at Me." which went to number 2 in the charts. She followed up the success of Schizophonic with Scream If You Want To Go Faster in 2001. After going solo, Geri moved to LA, formed an unlikely close relationship with George Michael and told all to the press about her eating disorders after losing an incredible amount of weight and releasing two yoga videos.
Geri is now back in the UK, working on new material and a reality TV show which will follow the format of The Osbournes. She’s also back to her old busty ginger self!
