Jade ’not a disruptive passenger’ - Feb 6 2007
Jade Jagger’s rep has denied allegations made by a fellow passenger that the bohemian style queen was disruptive on a recent flight from London to New York.

In response to claims made by a fellow traveller that the 35-year-old designer got drunk and loud with a friend after being escorted into the first-class cabin as "a guest of Richard Branson", Jade’s London-based rep, Sara Forage, told the New York Post: "Jade has a fear of flying and often has a drink before she boards a flight to calm her down. She was taken great care of by the cabin crew at Virgin Atlantic.

"While she had fun with her travelling companions, she did not realise that her talking and laughing would cause offence and regrets causing any disruption of which, until now, she was completely unaware.

Addressing some of the bolder claims made by the anonymous first-class witness, including the allegation that she kicked a flight attendant who tried to put her tray away before landing, Sara adds, "There was no climbing over seats. Nor did any falling down the aisles occur, and there was no visit from the captain or reprimand by cabin crew.

"As far as ’kicking an attendant’, she is utterly dismayed that anyone would even suggest such a thing. She always tries to fly Virgin Atlantic, as she gets great service. I hope this clears up these allegations."

Jade Jagger has been named as the new face and body of lingerie range Adore Moi. The stunning 34-year-old - the daughter of veteran Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger - will start promoting the elegant line later this year.

The underwear line is also new to the market, and is being launched by MJM International as part of a multi-million pound deal with Debenhams. Michelle Mone, founder and co-owner of MJM, said she is thrilled to have Jade on board.

She added the striking brunette is perfect for the brand. "I am delighted to have Jade as the face of our new lingerie brand, Adore Moi. Jade epitomises the brand perfectly," she said.

Jade is currently creative director of exclusive jewellers Garrard. She also designs jewellery.

Jade Jagger has joined a property design and development company with John Hitchcox and Philippe Starck. Called YOO, the company is involved in property across the globe in countries such as Australia, Germany, USA, Argentina, Russia and Korea. Jade is to design interior concepts and furniture for the company - another feather in the jewellery designer’s hat.

Are Jade Jagger and Pharrell Williams back together? The duo split last year after two years together after Pharrell became increasingly irritated with Jade’s demanding ways but after they were spotted checking in to the same hotel speculation is rife that they’ve rekindled the old flames. A friend explained that the pair tend to meet up whenever she’s in New York or he’s in London but that their ’liaisons’ are unlikely to lead to anything permanent.
