Former BBC newsreader Jan Leeming described I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! as a "life-enhancing experience" as she became the seventh person voted off the show.

Jan lost out in the public vote to Matt Willis, a former member of boyband Busted and now a solo artist.

Speaking to presenters Ant and Dec after her eviction last night, 64-year-old Jan said: "I will miss them. I proved something to myself, to everybody else and it’s time to go time.

"I’ve said all along that I wanted one of the younger ones to win because it could do good for their career and both David and I have said we don’t need that."

Jan was a permanent fixture in the bushtucker trials, completing six in total after volunteering for the first one.

"I thought if I volunteer and I do one I’ll be left alone," Jan said.

"Well I wasn’t and I did day after day after day. But some of them were good."

Jan, who spent 18 days in the Queensland jungle, said she was looking forward to a bit of pampering after roughing it.

"I’ve never had such dirty nails in my life, I want to get into a bath, I want my fruit, I want my vegetables, and I want to cuddle a koala," she admitted.

But she said she enjoyed the show.

"I will look back... (on it) as a life-enhancing experience," a teary Jan said.

Jan fans place your bets now! It seems bookies Ladbrokes are offering odds of 500/1 that I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star, Jan Leeming, appears topless in Playboy next year.

They opened the books after receiving a number of requests yesterday morning from fans of the show.

On Tuesday David put the former newsreader on the spot asking: "Would you pose for Playboy for £250,000?"

Jan later admitted in the Bush Telegraph that if the money was right, she would consider it.

"Properly lit, anybody can look good. My skin is not as taut as it used to be otherwise I would wear a bikini," she said.

"I have reached that stage. I want to go on safari, I want to go husky sledding. I want to do things and I need the cash."

Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg, said: "The odds on the chances of Jan appearing topless would have been higher had it not been for the number of enquiries we’ve had.
