"All my actor friends warned us, saying, ’Those abusive husband-and-wife scenes are gonna be difficult’. It almost scared me into quitting," he admitted.
"With those scenes, we’d end up exhausted. But driving home, we’d just look at each other and say, ’We are so normal’."
Marc and Jen tour together - July 23 2007
They vowed never to work apart, so Latino lovebirds Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are killing two birds with one stone and going on tour together.
The singers will be playing gigs together for the first time, and as a tour veteran Marc says he will be introducing Jen to the joys of life on the road.
Marc recently revealed that he and J-Lo made a vow to each other on their wedding day to avoid working apart.
He says they are both looking forward to the forthcoming trip, which has yet to be finalized.
"Jennifer has never toured. I’ve toured all my life. This is where I can step in and say, ’Oh, my God, this could be fun,’ and introduce her to that world," he told the Billboard.com website.
"It is something she’s always wanted to do, but she’s never had the time. So, yes, we’re seriously talking about going out this year (and) putting together an amazing show with just her and myself."
J-Lo wants to ditch name? - July 2 2007
Jennifer Lopez apparently wants to ditch the performing name of J-Lo, in a bid to improve her image.
The 37-year-old has admitted that her alter-ego was meant to be a bit of fun but "got out of control and really crazy" - and made her look like a diva.
She told The Sun: "That’s all gone with the ridiculous stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on Egyptian sheets. That’s all firmly in my past."
During her time, the actress and singer has reportedly made demands such as forbidding people from making eye contact with her and forcing a recording studio to change the lighting "to make her look more desirable".
The star revealed that she plans to spend more time focussing on more serious film roles and music projects - without thinking about the profits.
She added: "If you focus on the money you’re not going to get anywhere. If money is your motivation you’re going to be such an empty shallow person."
J-Lo sued over ’stolen’ TV series - May 21 2007
A US judge has ordered Jennifer Lopez to court to answer questions about a television series on Miami’s modelling and nightclub scene.
The questions are in a writ brought last year by a television writer who says the actress, along with UPN and CBS Television, stole his idea to create South Beach.
Jack Bunick claimed in a lawsuit in US District Court in Manhattan that the series that debuted in January 2006 was too similar to a plot he described in 1999 for a pilot episode of a show that would have been called South Beach Miami.
In February, lawyer Orin Snyder argued for J-Lo in court papers that although she was executive producer, the actress was barely involved in the creation and development of South Beach and was brought in only at a later stage to "lend celebrity to the show".
Sheldon Farber, a lawyer for Bunick, hit back his own letter to the court saying J-Lo was a proper defendant.
"Her celebrity is not a shield for her to use to avoid direct testimony in a case in which she has not been named frivolously," he wrote.

The following year however she decided to turn her hand to singing, producing an album, On The 6, which featured breakthrough singles If You Had My Love and Waiting For Tonight. The album turned her in to a household name literally overnight while an appearance alongside George Clooney in Out of Sight established her career as an actress although her future efforts such as The Cell and Gigli (with then fiancé Ben Affleck) saw her acting skills universally panned by critics.
With a change of name came super stardom as, in 2001, JLo was released, featuring hit singles Play, Love Don?t Cost A Thing as well as giving birth to remixes of I?m Real and Ain?t It Funny. JLo?s collaboration with rappers such as Ja Rule gave her a new audience and credibility outside of the pop world, although Jenny From the Block, the lead single from her 2002 album This is Me?Then, saw her rather ridiculed for claiming to be ?from the block? when she was often seen in the world?s finest hotels wearing fur coats costing the yearly wage of most of us.
In between failed marriages (to Cris Judd) and broken engagements (Ben Affleck), getting arrested with P Diddy (another ex) and appearing in films such as Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner, Jennifer managed to turn herself in to a corporation with a range of clothes, perfumes and a production company to her name. She has also turned her hand to modeling, most notably appearing in a fabulous campaign for Louis Vuitton.
More recently the one time diva seems to have settled down, dedicating time to her new husband Marc Antony (the Latino pair married in June 2004) and releasing her latest album Rebirth which, although a commercial flop, signified a new direction for the singer. Despite this disappointment it seems that JLo?s success is set to run and run although whether her future lies in singing, acting or fashion remains to be seen.
