Joss throws strop? - Oct 30 2007
Joss Stone apparently had a major diva strop - after her hair was dyed the wrong colour before a gig.
The incident occurred backstage before the songstress took to the stage at the Desert Rhythm Festival in Dubai.
It seems the Devon-born singer wanted a purple tint to her already dyed deep red locks - but the colour transformed her whole barnet into a shade of blue, according to The Sun.
And apparently Joss was so upset when the assistant brought over a cup of tea to help calm her down, she sent it flying.
"Joss was screaming and sobbing because of this hair malfunction and chucked a tray of tea on the floor," an insider told the paper.
"She wanted a little tint in her dyed red hair but it all turned dark blue.
"She was behaving like a woman possessed.
"Then when she walked in front of the crowd she had a beaming smile and acted like nothing had happened."
Lily and Joss set to shine - Oct 18 2007
Lily Allen and Joss Stone will be among the stars performing at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event, a concert mixing music with fashion.
The show at London’s Royal Albert Hall is being held to raise money for The Prince’s Trust.
Some of the world’s top fashion designers have paired up with rock and pop stars to showcase their collections.
They include Lily Allen for Chanel, Joss Stone for Calvin Klein, The Gossip’s Beth Ditto for Christopher Kane, Iggy Pop for Versace and Dame Shirley Bassey for Marchesa.
Other performers include RnB diva Alicia Keys, US super-producer Timbaland, Razorlight and 80s legend Marc Almond.
Confirmed designers at the star-studded charity night include Armani, Burberry and Stella McCartney.
Big screen beauty Uma Thurman and her Pulp Fiction co-star Samuel L Jackson will add some Hollywood glamour as hosts of the event.
Dethorned roses and real china for Joss - June 22 2007
Devon diva Joss Stone has issued a whopping 11 pages of demands for a festival appearance this weekend.
The soul singer is performing at the Knowsley Hall Music Festival in Liverpool, where she insists that dinner must be served with real china and tablecloths - complete with 16oz cups and 8oz hot cups.
She also requests "12 purple long stemmed de-thorned roses or any purple flowers".
Four of the 11 pages list food and drink demands, that state condiments must include Miracle Whip - an American salad dressing.
Joss, who will be appearing with The Who, The Coral, Keane and The Zutons, will be singing the Liverpool football classic You’ll Never Walk Alone.
But thankfully for the festival organisers, not all her demands are so restrictive. One more liberal section of the rider states: "Feel free to serve regional specialities and be creative."
Perhaps Jess would appreciate the traditional dish Scouse, which is a pot of meat and potatoes. As long as it is served in a real china pot.
Joss labels ex ’disgusting’ - June 14 2007
Joss Stone has apparently had enough of men - and has joked about becoming a lesbian.
"I think I’ll have to turn lesbian," the Daily Mirror quoted her as saying. "Every girl my age wants to be in a relationship. I haven’t had one in two years and look how that ended."
The soul singer also hit out against her ex, Beau Dozier, for exposing secrets of their failed relationship to the world’s press, labelling him "disgusting".

Rebranded as young soul diva Joss Stone the sixteen year old burst on to the scene with a reworking of The White Stripes’ Fell In Love With A Girl, earning her critical acclaim from the notoriously hard to please music press and ensuring that her debut album The Soul Sessions went top five here in the UK.
Joss’ record company wasted no time in following up her success with a hastily released second album, Mind, Body and Soul in 2004. Made up entirely of original songs the album debuted at number one in the charts, making Joss the youngest artist to reach the spot, and spawned several popular singles including You Had Me and Don’t Cha Wanna Ride?
In 2005 the singer was presented with two Brit Awards, nominated for three Grammy Awards and appeared at massive charity concert Live8 in Hyde Park…not bad going for an eighteen year old from Devon.
