"Kate knows Lila could have been in the car when the thieves struck. And they could have easily taken the car with Lila in it. She’s become very paranoid and wants to step up her security arrangements immediately."
Concerns for Kate’s well-being - May 26, 2020
Kate Moss has sparked concerns for her well-being after she was spotted leaving her home with what appeared to be a bruised cheek. The supermodel was seen looking dishevelled and was wearing over-sized sunglasses yesterday (25.05.06) just minutes after a visit from ex-boyfriend, Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty. The troubled rocker’s visit comes just days after the supermodel was revealed to be dating British TV presenter Russell Brand.
An onlooker was quoted in the Daily Mail newspaper as saying: "Her right cheek definitely looked bigger than the other side. "Both under her sunglasses and around her chin looked swollen." Moss’s aides have denied speculation Doherty may have hit her and insisted the swollen cheek was caused by "an unfortunate camera angle". They said Doherty had visited the model’s home to have a shower. Moss and the 27-year-old songwriter split after Doherty refused to go into rehab to treat his heroin addiction.
Kate Moss’ new love - May 25, 2020
Kate Moss’ rumoured new love has been spotted leaving her apartment after an alleged night of passion. British comedian and TV presenter Russell Brand and the supermodel tried to sneak out of her plush North London flat yesterday morning (24.05.06) but were horrified to realise they had been caught by waiting photographers.
Brand hastily rushed to his car to escape the snappers and Kate was seen throwing her arms up in the air before making a desperate call on her mobile phone. It has been reported that Kate’s close friend Sadie Frost, Jude Law’s ex-wife, was responsible for introducing the pair. The catwalk beauty was said to be smitten when she saw Brand presenting his MTV show and begged Sadie to hook them up.
In a bizarre twist, Brand is reported to be a close friend of Kate’s drug-addled ex-lover Pete Doherty and his former Libertines bandmate Carl Barrat. The comic is a recovering drug addict himself and has not touched drugs since 2002. He said: "I realise that if I take drugs again it will quickly destroy my life. I had a big appetite for them - but I can’t do it all again, or I won’ t get all the things I want."

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
