The catwalk queen is re-modelling herself as a fashion designer after being the muse for so many during her career - and she is determined to make her brand the biggest and best. She is alleged to have recently said: "I’m going to take everyone on and I’m going to shock everyone. "I know what works, I know what women want, and I know there is money to be made. My name is my brand and it’s going to be the biggest thing in fashion."
A close friend told Grazia magazine: "No contracts have been signed yet, so there is no launch date - although she is looking at getting something underway by next year. But everyone around her is being really positive about the whole thing. They think it will just grow and grow."
Possible names being lined up for her line include ’Kate’, ’Mossy’ or ’Lila Loves’ - a homage to her three-year-old daughter. Her friend added: "She is clear about the direction she wants it to take - she loves Stella’s McCartney’s clothes and would like to do something similar. "Kate will be overseeing the whole design and, presumably, ensuring the clothes have enough of the ’Kate sparkle’ that has made her a style icon."
A spokeswoman for Moss has confirmed that she is considering releasing a clothing range after she has finished modelling, but claims she has no plans of retiring from the catwalk for "three or four" years.

The catwalk beauty was allegedly overheard moaning to fashion designer Marc Jacobs, at a New York photo-shoot: "I’m a nun now - I’m not getting any."
Meanwhile, Moss has landed a ?500,000 deal with Calvin Klein - the company who launched her career 14 years ago. The mum-of-one has signed a lucrative contract with the American fashion giant and will star in their new ad campaign this autumn. She will appear alongside Irish model, Jamie Dornan - who split from actress Keira Knightley last year (05). Fabien Baron, Creative Director at Calvin Klein, said: "Kate and the Calvin Klein brand have a long history together and it felt natural to reunite them for this new jeans campaign. It will highlight the sexy, cool essence of both Kate and Calvin Klein."

Kate Moss is reportedly set to bring out her line of clothing. The 32-year-old supermodel has told friends she intends to start her own fashion range when she eventually gives up her catwalk career. Although Kate - who is enjoying a comeback following her drugs scandal last year - is yet to finalise the name of her label, she has already sought legal advice and is close to finalising a deal.

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
