Kate Moss
- Profession: Model
- Place/Date of Birth: Croydon, London, England, 16 January 2021
- Associated with: Pete Doherty, Sadie Frost
The 33-year-old supermodel, who dumped lover Pete Doherty in July, has apparently been seeing Jamie for a few weeks after he split from long-term model girlfriend Valentine Fillol-Cordier about two months ago.
A friend told the Daily Mirror: "Jamie was with Valentine for at least 18 months but now it looks like that’s over and he’s with Kate Moss."
Guitarist Jamie, 39, set up The Kills with American singer Alison Mosshart in 2000 and the pair used to share an apartment.
The friend added: "He has a very intense friendship with Alison, which has made it difficult to be in relationships with other people.
"There have been lots of rumours that Jamie had a relationship with Alison but there’s nothing to that. They are very close but that’s it."
Kate reportedly took Jamie to the pub in North London at the weekend before they headed to a friend’s house with her pal Davinia Taylor.
The Kills, who launched their debut album Keep On Your Mean Side in 2003, are now recording their third album.
The pair’s agents refused to comment.
I’m not a celeb, says Kate - Aug 8 2007
She’s one of the most photographed people in the world, but it seems Kate Moss doesn’t think of herself as a celebrity.
The supermodel, who recently split up with bad boy lover Pete Doherty, told Women’s Wear Daily: "I don’t see myself as a celebrity; I do my job.
"I see celebrity as doing the red carpet - I don’t do that. I don’t like that word."
The mum-of-one, who has a successful fashion line with TopSshop, said she was hoping to expand into the business world.
"I’d like to be a successful businesswoman for sure," she added.
"I like to know how many units are sold. It’s a learning curve, but something I’m loving."
Her next venture is a new perfume - and a haircare range is also in the pipeline.
"It’s something I’ve thought of doing for a long time, but it just never felt right," Kate explained. "It felt natural to take the next step."
Kate gets over Pete - with Ron - July 26 2007
Kate Moss has called "time out" on her relationship with Pete Doherty - and is apparently holing up with another rock’n’roller to get over him.
It seems Kate has been staying at her friend Ronnie Wood’s mansion in Surrey for a bit of "quiet time", although Ronnie’s more famed for his hard drinking behaviour.
A friend of the supermodel’s told the Daily Mirror: "Ronnie and Kate have a history of hellraising together so it’s unusual that they are having a quiet time together."
The Rolling Stone is a recovering alcoholic, but legendarily once drank eight pints of Guinness and two bottles of vodka a day.
The friend told the paper: "Kate is washing her hair of Pete, and Ronnie and his wife Jo have been taking her mind off things. He’s on the wagon and is great for her."
Kate is apparently staying at 60-year-old Ron’s house in Kingston, Surrey, until her new £7.2 million home in St John’s Wood, North London, is ready.
Kate ’makes clean break from Pete’ - July 19 2007
She’s reportedly already thrown him out of her house, got rid of his belongings and changed the locks, but Kate Moss is apparently going to enormous lengths to cut rocker ex Pete Doherty out of her life.
Now she has gone the extra mile by changing both her mobile and landline numbers to keep him at arm’s length, insider reports claim.

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
