Kate Moss
- Profession: Model
- Place/Date of Birth: Croydon, London, England, 16 January 2021
- Associated with: Pete Doherty, Sadie Frost
A source close to the 33-year-old supermodel told the Daily Mirror: "Pete was still phoning up last weekend and in the end it was too much even for Kate.
"She thought she had made things clear - he should never get in touch with her again, under any circumstances.
"But he failed to get the message so she’s taken drastic action. It’s a pain for her but she’s more adamant than ever about making a clean break."
Kate and Pete’s relationship came to an end last month when the 28-year-old Babyshambles frontman reportedly cheated on the model with South African model Lindi Hingston, 29.
Kate was apparently so devastated by the split that she pulled out of a fashion show in Paris to celebrate 60 years of Dior.
Kate burns love poems? - 12 July 2020
Kate Moss has reportedly burnt a stash of love letters and poems that were given to her by her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty.
The model, who split with the Babyshambles rocker earlier this month, is apparently spending time with her pal celebrity hairdresser James Brown, says The Sun.
The mum-of-one is now trying to get over the break-up and has had a ceremonial burning session - including sending the lyrics to Libertines track What Katie Did, up in flames.
A friend said: "Kate gathered quite a collection of Pete’s ramblings over the two years.
"He used the lyrics from his song What Katie Did -- which was written about a totally different Kate -- to pull her in the first place.
"It continued throughout the relationship. She has piles of love letters, poems, songs and paintings.
"Now Kate has decided to cleanse herself of him by burning the lot.
"It all stinks a bit of a high school break-up."
Pete moves out? - July 6 2007
Removal men have apparently been pictured carting Pete Doherty’s stuff out of Kate Moss’s home.
But has he dumped her - or has she kicked him out?
According to some reports, the model was seething after the rocker was seen with a South African model and had lost patience with his battle to quit drugs - while others suggest the troubled singer has had enough of their rows.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "They had some terrible slanging matches over the weekend, some of the worst of their relationship. Kate is absolutely furious. She hates being made a fool of and gets incredibly jealous. She just won’t stand for infidelity."
According to the paper, Pete, due in rehab on July 16, has even pledged to go into the drug clinic early in an effort to win her back.
Another pal added: "Pete is in pieces. He adores Kate and the lifestyle that goes with being her boyfriend. He has messed her around before but she has always taken him back. But for the first time, it seems Kate really means business."
But The Metro suggests it was the other way round and Pete dumped Kate.
A friend told the paper: "Kate has been crying non-stop for days. She’s trying everything to get him hooked back on her but he has had enough of her keeping him on such a short leash."
Whichever is true, does this mean their rollercoaster relationship is finally over?
’Kate Moss effect’ on festival-goers - June 20 2007
Music festivals are more about designer wardrobes than the acts on stage thanks to the "Kate Moss effect", according to new research out.
The survey, commissioned in the run-up to Glastonbury, found that a quarter of festival-goers spend around £500 on each outdoor music event.

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
