Lindsay leaves rehab - July 16 2007
Lindsay Lohan checked out of a Malibu rehab centre at the weekend and reportedly headed for Vegas.
The Mean Girls star left the Malibu clinic on Friday, according to People magazine’s website, and was then reportedly seen partying on Saturday night at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas with several friends.
She’s unlikely to be hitting the booze though, as the 21-year-old has volunteered to wear an alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet according to her publicist.
"In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served," agent Leslie Sloane Zelnik said.
Lindsay, who only celebrated her 21st birthday on July 2, checked into rehab after a wild weekend in late May, during which she crashed her Mercedes Benz into a curb, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and was photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend’s car.
Her outpatient programme now includes going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, taking daily tests and receiving therapy.
"She’s doing great," Zelnik said. "Lindsay is working hard on her sobriety and we are all supporting her."
Rehab Changed My Life - July 10 2007
Hollywood wild child Lindsay Lohan says rehab has changed her life.

"It changed my life," she said. "I didn’t have a good grip on it and I needed to get my s*** together. I was going out too much and I had too much pressure on my shoulders. I was not that happy and I needed to go to that place to be happy.
"There were therapy classes to talk about relationships and family issues and to hear other people’s stories too. They teach you to give to other people and I walked away with the benefit of that.
"If I get stressed out I say a serenity prayer. I meditate too."
The Mean Girls star now keeps a copy of Machiavelli’s The Prince, written in 1513, with her to use as a self-help guide. "I was going out with someone and they said I should read Machiavelli and I was like, ’Nah’, and then I was, ’Ok, I’ll read it’, and now it is always with me," she explained.
The interview is in the August issue of Tatler, out Thursday.
