Liz Hurley is considering role in new Harry Potter movie. According to reports Liz Hurley could be exchanging her Versace dresses and blowdryer for a pointy hat and a cauldron if she takes on the latest role that has been offered to her. Liz has reportedly been offered the part of evil witch Bellatrix LeStrange in the fifth Harry Potter movie, due to start shooting next year, the character plots to kill Harry in the relevant book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which won’t make Liz very popular with the kids but nevertheless she is said to be ’very excited’ by the offer.

Liz Hurley uses extreme measures to keep her figure. The actress has revealed just how little she eats in order to retain her famous figure, admitting that she only really eats one meal a day. "I maintain my figure by eating very little breakfast, not too much lunch and little tiny snacks throughout the day. But really boring snacks like a banana or six raisins. The only meal I have is dinner." She also told the Daily Mail that she struggled to lose weight after giving birth to baby Damian, "you think you’re thin again and then you get on the scales and you’re still 25lbs overweight." It’s a hard life being 7 ? stone.

Rumour has it that Liz Hurley could be tying the knot very soon. The actress and model is holding not one but two parties in celebration of boyfriend Arun Nayer’s fortieth birthday and according to sources one could be a wedding! Liz and Arun will fly out to India for a lavish bash in true Hurley style before jetting off to Lake Udaipur the next day where, if the rumours are to be believed, the pair will tie the knot at a beautiful ancient palace. The couple have also been spotted looking at property in Mumbai, fuelling speculation even further.

Liz’s new line features what she calls ’invisible’ bras and knickers, according to the Daily Mail. The actress has reportedly been working with friends like Donatella Versace on the line and although she has tried to keep the venture quiet, friends have admitted that Liz feels she should have something to fall back on as the modelling dries up.

Liz Hurley’s latest film Method has followed its three predecessors and has gone straight to video.

Yet again a film starring Liz Hurley will not be getting a cinema release, what is wrong with people - do they think she cannot act or something? Going straight to a video release means that distributors for the film do not want to spend any more money promoting it. The really bad news is that not only was Liz the star of Method, she was also the producer - it really does not look good on her CV.

Biography

Born on June 10 1965, in Hampshire, England, Elizabeth Hurley is the daughter of an army officer and an elementary schoolteacher mother.

At 21, Hurley got her first film role in the 1987 film Aria after having attended the London Studio Centre on scholarship. Hurley’s role in the film Remando al Viento that same year could be considered a crucial one, as it also starred her future boyfriend Hugh Grant.

However, despite acting and modelling jobs it was a certain safety pinned Versace frock that made Liz on of Britain’s most famous faces. She wore what would soon simply be called ’that dress’ to the premiere of Hugh’s breakthrough film Four Weddings and a Funeral. More attention followed when Estee Lauder signed Hurley to be the face of their cosmetics.

Although together for several years, even sticking together through the embarrassing Divine Brown incident, Hugh and Liz split in 2001 although they remain friends to this day. Liz had a brief fling with billionaire Steve Bing, during which she became pregnant with her son Damien. A very public battle occured during her pregnancy with Bing claiming that the child was not his. Liz found vindication when the child was born - not only was he the spit of Bing but a dna test proved without doubt what we could all see.

Liz is now engaged to Indian businessman Arun Nayer and their impending nuptuals have been the source of much speculation with several dates touted and even Hugh Grant has been suggested as Arun’s best man.

Meanwhile Liz’s career has taken a forward leap. Her acting credentials may be lousy (Bedazzled anyone?) and her stint as presenter of Project Catwalk might have been panned but the very British beauty has found her niche. Elizabeth Hurley Beach, her own range of beachwear has been flying off the shelves in the UK and US while her Estee Lauder job goes from strength to strength.

Liz splits her time between Ampney Crucis in the Cotswolds and California.
