A friend is quoted in Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying: "Naomi just flipped and went for her Yvonne said she’d go and change. "Naomi continued to insult her and started kicking and punching her". A spokesman for Naomi said she has denied the assault.

Naomi Campbell allegedly attacked her best friend - for wearing a similar dress. The supermodel is at the centre of a police investigation after reportedly flying into a rage and punching and kicking Yvonne Scio, who has been close to the star for 12 years. Yvonne, also a model, is said to have told police the star assaulted her in a "completely unprovoked attack". It’s claimed 36-year-old Yvonne had turned up a few minutes late to collect sexy Naomi for a party and infuriated the supermodel by wearing an outfit she thought was too similar to hers.

A friend is quoted in Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying: "Naomi just flipped and went for her. Yvonne said she’d go and change. Yvonne suffered a split lip and bruising and was taken to hospital in tears after the alleged incident in Rome’s swanky Hotel Eden. Police last night confirmed the blonde actress has made an official allegation. A spokesman for 35-year-old Naomi, who has a history of violent outbursts, said she denied the assault.

?25,000 yacht raid ? June 05
Naomi got an unwanted birthday surprise this month when a thief snuck on board a yacht during celebrations for her 35th birthday and made off with ?25, 000 worth of jewellery and clothes. The model had been staying in the South of France with on-again boyfriend, Flavio Briatore.

The stolen items were due to be auctioned at a fundraiser for the Nelson Mandela Foundation of which Naomi is an ambassador. The charity didn?t lose out though ? the big-hearted model arranged for replacement outfits to be flown in from her favourite designers.

Naomi has teamed up with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to launch a charity project to help fight poverty in the South American country.

The campaign aims to raise money for children?s charities and encourage tourism through the sale of designer T-shirts bearing the logo, ?We Love Brazil.?

Naomi has made regular trips to the country over the past 13 years, and has even more reason to visit now she is dating Brazilian actor, Sergio Malone.
