Sienna bags Lindsay’s old role - April 24 2007
Sienna Miller has stepped in to fill Lindsay Lohan’s shoes, starring opposite Keira Knightley in The Best Days Of Our Lives, after the flame-haired starlet pulled out at the last minute.
Li-Lo was due to move to the UK at the weekend to start work on the film, which is scheduled to start filming in London and Wales on May 7.
But the actress passed on the role - and the move - after failing to reach an agreement over her contract with the film’s financiers, according to Variety.
With a script penned by Keira’s playwright mum, Sharman Macdonald, the film tells the story of poet Dylan Thomas, who will be played by Matthew Rhys, and the two women vying for his affections.
Sienna will replace Lindsay as Dylan’s wife Caitlin, while Keira will play Vera Phillips, his free-spirited childhood friend.
The film, which is rumoured to contain a steamy threesome involving the two lead actresses, will be directed by John Maybury, who previously directed Keira in The Jacket.
Sienna’s snapper fracas - April 4 2007
A photographer apparently got into a scuffle with members of Sienna Miller’s entourage on Sunday night, as the star strove to avoid being snapped hanging out with Sean ’Diddy’ Combs in London. see photos of P Diddy’s party
The rapper himself was kind and courteous when he left the club where he had been partying with the actress, but the shy starlet attempted to bypass the waiting paps - to no avail.
Instead, in an incident involving two people in her group, one cameraman was allegedly pushed off the pavement as Sienna rushed by on her way into the trendy Soho Hotel.
The snapper in question hasn’t commented on the incident and it’s unlikely to go any further. But the actress’s rep made a statement to TMZ.com about what happened, saying: "It is unfair that the press isn’t courteous in giving her her space. It’s getting uncomfortable for people to walk and London’s a walking city."
Sienna can be seen back on the big screen later this year in fantasy film Stardust, alongside Robert De Niro, Claire Danes and Ricky Gervais.
Sienna: I’m not that kind of actress - Mar 21 2007
Sienna Miller has put an end to rumours that her Factory Girl sex scenes were real.
Even the film’s director George Hickenlooper had refused to deny claims that Sienna and co-star Hayden Christensen had taken their method acting a little further than normally required. But in an interview with New! magazine, the actress dismissed the rumours out of hand.
"There’s a name for people who actually do have sex on film and get paid for it but I’m not that kind of actress, nor is Hayden," the actress said.
"So the sex scene is not real but I’m flattered that people think we did a good enough job that it might be."

Sienna’s parents divorced rather early in her life and she moved to England with her mother, where Jo took on the job of running London’s Lee Strasberg drama school.
Sienna spent most of her adolescent life at Heathfield School, a boarding school in Ascot. On her return to London she enrolled at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Early theatre performances were on the stages of New York and include The Striker, Independence and Cigarettes & Chocolate, directed by Anthony Minghella, who’s famous for helming the movie The English Patient (1996).
In New York she was ’spotted’ by Select Modeling agency, she continued to model on her return to England.
After starring in a few underrated television shows, Paramount Pictures signed her up to a seven-year contract. It was following this that she began to grab a few roles in some big budget silver screen productions, including Layer Cake, Alfie and Casanova.
After co-starring in Alfie together, Sienna began a relationship with one of the UK’s hottest men, Jude Law, and it is mostly this soapbox of a relationship that bagged her the most column inches.
Sienna went on to play Celia in a West End stage production of As You Like It, fulfilling a life times ambition - however not to great acclaim.
In 2006 she finished filming Factory Girl, in which she plays Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgewick.
