"It will be full-on nostalgia and a look back at living through those amazing years. It will focus on the Spice Girls as they were, not what individuals are up to now."
The source went on: "The show should make them at least £2 million to £3 million each - but it could even be as much as £5 million.
"It’ll be a total ratings smash so there is no doubt there will be a huge bidding war."
Spice Girls set date to reveal plans - June 25 2007
The Spice Girls will make an official announcement about their "future plans" next week, their management company has said.
Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown will make their announcement next Thursday, following recent speculation of a new album and a concert tour.
A statement issued from Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, which represents the band, said: "Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday June 28.
"No further information can be given at this time but given the bands unique history, you can be sure to expect the unexpected! Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days."
Posh, Scary, Baby, Sporty and Ginger formed the Spice Girls in 1994 after answering an advertisement in the magazine The Stage, which asked: "R U 18-23 with the ability to sing/dance? R U streetwise, ambitious, outgoing and determined?".
They split in 2001.
Posh banned from getting pregnant? - June 20 2007
Spice Girls creator Simon Fuller has apparently laid down some rules ahead of the group’s comeback - including telling the members of the girl power group not to get pregnant.
The music mogul is leaving nothing to chance and sent a message to Victoria, Emma, Mel B, Mel C and Geri promising them that he will make sure that their reunion takes place, and that they’ll be bigger stars than before, the Sun reports.
"I will make this work for you all, none of you realise how amazing you were and still are. It’s good to be back," the paper quotes him as saying.
The tabloid says the following rules on Simon’s list are as follows:
1 - Do not talk about money that you will potentially earn from the reunion.
2 - Talk about memories of the Spice Girls with affection.
3 - Do not get into spats between yourselves over plans and decisions - is it worth it?
4 - Respect each other’s personal lives and commitments.
5 - Respect each other’s views.
6 - Raise any queries with Nicki (Chapman) and myself at the scheduled meeting.
7 - Do not confirm or deny any rumours until everything is in place.
8 - Do not worry about schedules and time - this will all be arranged with everyone in mind.
9 - Do not become pregnant - please!
