Toby Anstis has admitted he’s relieved to have been booted off I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The radio and TV presenter was the first person to be evicted from the reality show after losing in the public vote against EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney.

Speaking during his post-eviction interview, Toby said he was a little bit relieved but would miss everyone he left behind.

Speaking to presenters Ant and Dec he said: "It has been such an adventure. They are such a lovely bunch of people.

"It’s a little bit of a relief, there are people waiting this side you want to see but I am really going to miss that bunch."

Toby said the hardest aspects of camp life were hunger and boredom.

"When you are watching it at home you see all the fun but there are hours where you are sitting around bored and hungry," he said.

He said designer Scott Henshall was having a tough time because he had had to do several of the gruelling Bushtucker Trials.

Scott won just one star before pulling out of the latest challenge What Lurks Beneath.

Toby said: "He has been up for a lot of Bushtucker trials. He is worn down physically and mentally."

He backed former pop star Jason Donovan to be crowned this year’s King of the Jungle.

Biography

Toby began his career as a presenter on Children’s BBC, where he appeared alongside and aardvark named Otis who liked toffees. He went on to present on ill fated radio station Liberty before taking over from Jamie Theakston on Heart FM.

He has also taken part in Celebrity Wrestling (which he pulled out of with broken fingers) and The All Star Talent Show in which he was so terrible the audience voted him the winner. Obviously. Toby has also had numerous presenting jobs on Challenge and Living TV.
