Gavin Henson
- Profession: Rugby player
- Place/Date of Birth: Bridgend, South Wales, 01 February 2021
- Associated with: Charlotte Church
A source told the magazine: "Charlotte can’t wait. She’s so excited that she and Gavin have finally thrashed out a date for their big day."
The date would mean Charlotte could get in shape gradually following the birth - she has said she doesn’t want to follow other celebs by trying to shift the baby weight immediately.
The source added: "Charlotte has always said she won’t go on a diet after having her baby, but the three months between the birth and the wedding will give her time to lose a little bit more weight so she can look even more fabulous."
Gav scores in anti-smoking plea - April 3 2007
Father-to-be Gavin Henson has urged parents to kick smoking into touch.
The rugby star, who is expecting a baby with girlfriend Charlotte Church, was speaking in Cardiff on the day smoking in public places was banned in Wales.
Gav said: "I grew up in a no smoking atmosphere and if that happens you’re less likely to be a smoker. Charlotte is from a smoking background, but from being around me my health conscious ways have influenced her.
"I was probably on her case a little bit because I didn’t want to be around a smoky atmosphere when I came home from work. It’s just not healthy.
"She hasn’t smoked for 15 months now and thinks it’s a disgusting habit. She found it difficult the first week or two, but you get your taste buds and your sense of smell back then and it’s a good move."
He said: "As a parent-to-be I want my kid to be brought up in a no smoking atmosphere. This is an exciting time for us and I can’t wait.
"It’s a massive thing in both our lives."
Gavin’s keep-fit gift for Charlotte - Feb 21 2007
Gavin Henson must be a brave man ... he reportedly bought girlfriend Charlotte Church a personal trainer for her 21st birthday.
The rugby ace apparently decided against flowers, clothes or jewellery and splashed out on a year’s worth of sessions with a top exercise coach, reports the Daily Star.
It seems the 25-year-old must have been using his own initiative because the Voice Of An Angel had apparently told him not to go overboard on her pressies this year.
"I’ve got loads of stuff," Charlotte, who turns 21 today, was quoted as saying. "And anything I want, I can buy myself."
The songstress-turned-TV presenter - who is known for being comfortable with her shapely curves - added: "I have told Gavin not to go nuts with my birthday presents. Because then we start having to outdo each other."
It will be interesting to see what Gav gets for his 26th then...
Charlotte rows with Gavin? - Dec 19 2006
Welsh warbler Charlotte Church has reportedly had a row with her boyfriend Gavin Henson - over the couple’s wedding plans.
The smitten pair are hoping to tie the knot at some point, but apparently can’t agree on a date.
The 24-year-old rugby ace is keen to marry next year says the Daily Star, but Charlotte, 20, thinks she is too young to settle down.
The paper also claims the spiky-haired athlete is distressed at the amount of time Charlotte spends away from their Cardiff home, because she is filming The Charlotte Church Show.
The former Voice Of An Angel scooped a British Comedy Award for the show last week.

Born on February 1st 1982 in Bridgend, South Wales, Gavin certainly has the rugby bug in his blood - his father, Alan Henson played prop for Maesteg - and from a young age he showed real promise on the pitch and wowed anyone who saw him play at junior level.
Gavin made his senior debut for Swansea in 2000 and the following year earned his first Wales cap while touring Japan and was named IRB and Wales Young Player of the Year. However, not long after the player Gavin had been playing in the place of returned and his international career was cut short and he concentrated on his place within the Ospreys.
2004 saw him back on the Wales first team and a number of good performances, including a record fourteen conversions in a test against Japan during the Autumn internationals, secured his place as one of Wales’ top players and, following this, he was a shoo in for a place on the 2005 Six Nations team and the Lions tour in the same year.
Gavin’s Six Nations performance, more than helping Wales’ with the series of wins that saw them lift the Grand Slam trophy, has cemented his place in the rugby hall of fame while his relationship with Cardiff singing sensation Charlotte Church has thrown him in to the media spotlight and made him the most recognisable sports star since that English rugby player.now what was his name again?
