Local resident Patsy Palmer is going to be joining Paddington Bear on a charity trip back to Peru - on behalf of Action Research.
She will be taking part on a sponsored trek to the lost city of Machu Picchu on behalf of the medical charity. She says that action research is one of her favourite charities to support after the trauma she had when her now healthy son Fenton was born premature.
The trek is due to start on May 2003, and we’ll keep you updated!
Patsy stays in ’The Night Before Christmas’ - 25/11/02
Local girl Patsy Palmer is to appear in a quirky adult comic-drama set the ’Night Before Christmas’.
You do have to go to Hammersmith to see it though, but it has been described as ’an antidote to the more-familiar festive offerings’ and the scene is set in a North London warehouse - it’s Christmas Eve and an ’Elf’ is tied to a chair.
The play is being held at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, and the dates it will be running will be Dec 3rd - 30th. Call the studio on

She became famous through her years on Eastenders as Bianca Jackson, forever to be heard shreaking ’RICKEEEEEEE!’ on the popular soap. She left Eastenders after six years, although there has been recent rumours of whether she and Sid Owen (the actor that plays the hapless Ricky) will ever be re-united on the programme.
Patsy left the show to concentrate more on her son Charley, and since leaving she has now had two more children (Fenton and Emilia in case you were wondering!! She has also starred in ’McCreedy and Daughter’ detective show and more recently been filming for a drama down under in Australia.
