The house where television star Paula Yates died has been sold, three minutes after being listed on an estate agents website. A property investment firm snapped up the mews house in Notting Hill, for ?595,000 within minutes of its listing on the Winkworth’s website.
"They faxed us their bank details without even being shown around," Winkworth’s agent Alex Thompson said.
The house was sold with most of its contents, including a two metre poster of Yates’ dead lover Australian rock star Michael Hutchence, photographs of the couple’s child Tiger Lily, and a giant Australian flag on the upstairs terrace.
Cash from the sale is expected to be split between Tiger Lily, 4, and her three half-sisters from Yates’ marriage to rock star and philanthropist Sir Bob Geldof.

Bob Geldof has been awarded custody of Tiger Lily Hutchence following the death of his former wife, Paula Yates, after a High Court battle with the girl’s aunt who also petitioned to care for her.
A judge awarded custody of Tiger Lily, four, to Geldof at a private hearing this week. The girl had been orphaned following the death of Paula Yates in september. Her father, the Australian rock star Michael Hutchence, was found dead, hanged from the door handle of his Sydney hotel room, three years ago.
Tiger Lily had been staying with her three half sisters, Geldof’s daughters by Paula until her future was decided. Geldof was awarded temporary custody of the girl the day following his former wife’s death.
Mrs justice Hogg rejected a counter-application for custody of Tiger Lily by Hutchence’s half sister, Tina Shorr, who wanted to care for the girl at her home in Burbank, California. The order will be reviewed in 12 months.
At his home in Sydney, Mr Hutchence, 69, said: "We are delighted. We feel she she should be with her sisters. Bob is very pleased. He feels it is the best possible outcome. We are thrilled because it is the best thing for Tiger. This little girl has never been happier. She has got her sisters and has wonderful extended family connections."

The house that Paula Yates lived and died in, at St Lukes Mews is up for sale. The mews home is being sold with all its contents for ?595.000. It is just as it was the day TV star Paula died and includes beds, poster of her late partner Michael Hutchence, handbags and personal photos and possessions.
Paula who died from a cocktail of drugs was found sprawled across her bed by her four-year-old daughter Tiger Lily. Potential buyers are walking through her house as though they were visiting a museum, nothing has been changed since that very day, children’s toys and clothes are scattered on the floor of the girl’s bedroom, mugs and cups and still on the draining board. Along the walls there are montage of pictures and photographs of Paula’s daughters.
Close friend and agent Belinda Brewin put the house on the market; she is also representing Paula’s estate. She had removed all of Paula’s clothes and the pillow containing Michael Hutchence’s ashes, but nothing else.
