If paint colours, soft furnishings and Homes and Gardens magazine are your thing get down to Earls Court this month for the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show. Packed full of ideas for the home, from new design tips to gadgets for the kitchen, some of the most exciting designers and home companies exhibit here every year, attracting thousands of visitors looking for new ways to kit out their homes.

This year's theme is recycling and sustainable living - mighty appropriate as many of us turn to organic food and a more worthy lifestyle - and the central exhibit of the show is set to be a rather spectacular tropical waterfall complete with an exotic tree house choc-full of rooms designed by camp TV duo Colin and Justin.

When you've worn out the excitement of Concept Products, the usefulness of the Trend Led Roomsets (with exhibits designed by The House Doctor herself, Ann Maurice, on show), which can help you improve your own home, and the daily Real Homes Masterclass Theatre with hourly tips, hints and lectures on design, DIY and much more from the likes of Naomi Cleaver and the undisputed Princess of Property, Sarah Beeny, kick back and relax at the Indulgent Zone where experts such as Colour Me Beautiful and the London College of Beauty Therapy will be on hand to offer complimentary hand massages, demos and colour analysis.

As well as home wares, styling tips and pampering areas you'll be able to grab a few ideas for your outside spaces, whether that be a balcony, a three acre garden or a roof terrace or get some cooking tips (from the likes of Anthony Worral Thompson and James Martin) and don't forget to enter those competitions to win anything from hampers to gadgets to a whole new home.
