Synopsis
Frantisek is obsessed with the westerns his father shows in their cinema. When the nationalisation of the Czechoslovakian film industry robs them of the cinema and the films they love, Frantisek and his cousin Ferda start to shoot their own westerns. Frantisek is not allowed to study and is later unjustly sent to prison. In 1968 he decides to emigrate to follow his dreams.
