Description: Previously called The Cougar Club, 11 Russell gardens opens its doors to the latest in the wonderfully serene yet outright funky much acclaimed blagclubs. Descend into the gold ceiling blag basement, kick back on the large beds, overlooked by a reclining Ganesh under the shade of the cherry tree, and enjoy the Hindu cool decor. This basement bar retains the delightful intimacy that blag-clubbers pride themselves upon, and is located in the peaceful leafy trendy Holland Park area. Located 5 minutes from shepherds bush tube station, the club will be open Fridays and Saturdays, and upon request.

Joanne said on 14th October ... "Held a party at Blag last Friday and had an amazing time. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from when I first enquired to the night of the event. The venue is really unique and easy to find, it does, however get really busy so make sure your guests know to get there before 9pm and put them on the guestlist to guarantee entry.
A fantastic evening was had by all and I highly recommend it for any event.

"I'm not knocking the Blag Clubs - I've performed at the NH one a couple of times in the distant past and it is a nice little place, however when I look up MyNottingHill and the front page "Latest Reviews" section has sparkling reviews of no less than THREE branches on it alarm bells start ringing.
Come on guys - don't abuse the user reviews section by spamming. These sections are meant for real punters to share their experiences of places - not for blatantly obvious free advertising. "

James said on 03rd October ... "I recently had a bash at the Holland Park blagclub, They have really friendly staff who welcome you in, and the Dj was playing some great tunes. Its a really nice cosy atmosphere with low ceilings giving it a lovely intimate feel.

The venue was nice, the staff very friendly and I even got a compimentary glass of champagne, which I though was a nice touch. The music was great and I liked the fact that there was also a dance area. The drinks were rather pricey, but it was worth it.

Everone enjoyed themselves and I will be going back to visit."

The staff, club managers, bar men, DJ were all brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful! The venue is brill too - 120 capacity so not big but a nice size to have a party for any occasion!

Would hold another party there anytime and recommend it to everyone."

Will and Ellie said on 20th November ... "We hired the venue privately for our engagement party. Kam and Nick in the blag office sorted everything out and made it as easy as possible to arrange. We just had to invite our friends.
No booking fee just a minimum spend to hit which was easy as the manger Daniella kept us updated with how everything was going.
Friendly staff and beautiful decor.
Well done blagclub and thanks for making it such a wonderful night - we will definitely recommend you to our friends."

Managed to get 65 friends on the Guest List thanks to Kam & Nick...so we took up half the bar...were well looked after by Daniella & her down to earth, fun team of bar, floor and door staff. Much appreciated guys...you rock!!! Its a great little venue with funky tunes of a great mix, stylish layout & decent prices! Highly recommend if you have a reason to party with a group of your mates or just want to go somewhere new! Go check it out!"

Lex said on 04th June ... "Went to the Blagclub for a friend's birthday and although the crowd was all right, I thought the drinks horrendously overpriced - £10 for a beer and a Pimms.

The bar staff justified this by saying they only serve doubles unless specifically requested. So unless you're psychic, beware. This seemed to me to be a local club with pretensions above its station.

The drinks were very reasonably priced, and after taking them up on their free list, the night didn't cost us the usual crazy fees west london normally commands!nice crowd and fun staff that like to join into the party, i will defintely be going back!"

We were well looked after, had a reserved area in the VIP section, (with its own volume control!) and all for free! Was a great night; there were lots of other lists partying there too and because its a small club, you meet everyone!
