"Decided at the last minute to try and get a late night drink in Kensington. Didnt feel like Dunes as I didnt want to rub up against silicone breasted woman and the men they attract. Wandered into Bar 6 only to be told we are closed by the barman it was 11pm. Finally I thought we had found a drinking hole worthy of taking my cash. We entered Settle down.
The door man pulled the rope away and we descended down a flight of stairs. We turned a corner took another 5 paces. Snogging real snogging, that teenage, lets get to first base variety.
I thought School Disco took place at the Hammersmith Palis, well I was wrong School Disco is at the Settle Down, Kensington every weekend but you dont need to dress up. The average age must have barely struggled to reach eighteen. Im sure my advanced age of thirty eight pushed it up a notch but there is no way the majority of snoggers were the right side of legality when it comes to buying alcohol.
We ordered our drinks and sat down to watch Yo-MTV-Hip-Drop or whatever on the small tv in the corner. The sight of a bearly pubescent blond Harry Potter boy child high fiving his crew, bloods or posse was enough to push us out of the establishment and back onto the street of Kensington just 20 minutes after entering the Settle Down.
It would be interesting to see how many of the clientele got picked up by Mummy or Daddy come closing time."

"This place rocked! Great value for a great night out! Bar staff were amazing and not like most bars - they can let their hair down at this bar! Great food which was available until 1 am... Will definitely be back!
