Talking about his and Angelina’s plans for more kids, he revealed: ""We’re thinking a soccer team. Start our own country, enter the World Cup and dominate it."

The actor was back to his handsome self, without the ageing make-up he wears in the film for which he was nominated, Babel.

The star chatted amiably, whilst Angelina stood next to him, looking just a little bit bored by the whole thing.

Talking about juggling their priorities, Brad admitted that it was all about: "A lot of that, a little of this. Most of it at home with the family, that seem to be a pretty good balance for us."

As he said it, he glanced over at Angie, who remained quiet. Brad went on to explain that his Golden Globes day was spent mostly NOT thinking about the award ceremony.

"Morning with the kids, breakfast, diapers and books," he said, while Angelina revealed that she doesn’t cook a full English, but that the kids made do with cereal.

Angelina Jolie is apparently kicking up a fuss over her Golden Globes dress, despite signing an exclusive contract with designer St John to wear their gear on all the red carpets she attends.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the actress has been "less than ecstatic with the clothes as of late" and that the team behind her clothes "has been working overtime to make her happy".

Other sources report that while the star often appears to care less about all things image-wise, she is in fact "very particular" and it is not at all surprising "she is making them tweak things".

The glamourpuss will still make the stroll down the carpet at the event, although she could be in one of two dresses - which of which is grey and the other her trademark black.

Mrs Brad Pitt signed a lucrative deal with St John that has given them a ton of publicity, but if they are keen to make sure that she re-signs, with all the competition that is out there, they would do best to please.

Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can’t seem to get enough of Costa Rica.

After spending Christmas Day there with Colombian refugees, the stars are planning on ringing in 2007 at the exclusive Four Seasons Resort in Papagayo on Costa Rica’s northern Pacific coast, La Nacion newspaper reported.

Accompanied by their three children, a nanny and a personal chef, the Jolie-Pitt entourage, registered as "the Black family," have been staying at the resort 155 miles north west of the capital since last Friday, according to the report.

The hotel’s website describes the facility as "spilling down a lush mountainside to an isthmus of golden sand" and says room rates range from 470 dollars (£235) to 6,800 dollars (£3,400) a night.

The two spent Christmas Day in Costa Rica with refugee children and families from Colombia, also part of Angie’s ambassadorship for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

There are about 11,500 refugees in Costa Rica, most of whom fled Colombia because of the conflict between leftist guerrillas, soldiers and paramilitary forces.

"I am deeply affected by having had the opportunity to be with them," said Costa Rica’s former culture minister Guido Saenz, who took the couple around an art museum.
