Both Brad and Angelina have been married before. He divorced ’Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston last year (05), while she has had two husbands - British actor Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. The couple - who have joint guardianship of adopted children, four-year-old Maddox and 16-month-old Zahara - welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel, into the world last month.

The couple also revealed they were amazed people were surprised they wanted to have their baby in Namibia. She revealed: "We both had travelled to Africa and loved this part of the world. "People were shocked that we chose to come here, and they thought we were putting our child’s life in danger, but we did our homework about Namibia. We want to tell the world how magnificent this country and the people are." Brad added: "We had top-notch medical care. We could not have received better medical care even in America."

The first picture of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s baby has been leaked onto the internet. The picture - which appears to be an upcoming cover of Britain’s Hello! Magazine - shows the ’Tomb Raider’ actress with her hair swept back, lying on her side with her head propped on her hand, looking down at the baby. Partner Brad is also shown, smiling and looking over their first born.

The headline reads: "The biggest exclusive of the year. Angelina and Brad with their new Baby Shiloh Nouvel." The scramble for the first official picture of the youngster - who was born on March 27 sparked a bidding war between some of the world’s biggest media outlets.

Deals to secure the rights to the image have reportedly been sold for upwards of $4 million. Lawyers for the agency which secured rights to publish the photo are now trying to find out how it came to be leaked onto the internet. Brad and Angelina announced on Monday (05.06.06) that they would be donating the proceeds from the sale of the photos to charity. The humanitarian actress is also a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. and has adopted two children - Cambodian-born son Maddox, 4, and 16-month-old Zahara, from Ethiopia - of whom Pitt now has shared legal guardianship.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are giving the money they make from their baby pictures to charity. The images of Shiloh Nouvel - the Hollywood couple’s first biological child - are believed to have fetched between $5 million to $7 million.

In a joint statement, Brad and Angelina said: "While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that two million babies born every year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives. "These children can be saved, but only if governments around the world make it a priority."

The ’Tomb Raider’ actress - who won an Oscar for her role in the 1999 drama, ’Girl, Interrupted’ - is well-known for her humanitarian work. As well as being a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, the star has also adopted two children - Cambodian-born son Maddox, 4, and 16-month-old Zahara, from Ethiopia. Brad - who has been with Angelina since splitting from ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - has become the children’s legal guardian. His divorce from Aniston was finalised last December (05).
