Shiloh Nouvel’s website - June 2, 2020
Angelina Jolie has snapped up a website for her new daughter, Shiloh Nouvel. The actress wasted no time in making sure the baby would feature on the internet by securing the rights to her internet domain name the day she was born.
Angelina and partner Brad Pitt welcomed their new arrival into the world on Saturday (27.05.06) and hours later Angelina’s legal team had snapped up the web address Shilohnouveljoliepitt.com. The website was registered in Angelina’s name by her Los Angeles attorneys at 8.27pm on Saturday. Shiloh is not the only member of the Jolie-Pitt family with her own website. Angelina’s attorneys secured MaddoxJolie-Pitt.com and ZaharaJolie-Pitt.com just days after Brad adopted the ’Tomb Raider’ star’s two older children. The couple are expected to stay in Namibia for a further two weeks before returning to the US.
New mother Gwen Stefani has also acted quickly to secure the internet domain name of her new son Kingston. The singer registered a least one URL for the newborn on May 25 - a day before the baby was reportedly born. However, Britney Spears had to fight for SeanPrestonFederline.com after another party snapped up the web address before she managed to register it for her son and her lawyers battled to get it back for her. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were too slow to secure SuriCruise.com - that was registered before the couple could secure it for their new daughter Suri.
Angelina and Brad have donated $300,000 - May 31, 2020
New parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $300,000 to help impoverished African children - to mark the birth of their daughter. The couple - who welcomed their baby girl, Shiloh Nouvel, into the world on Saturday (27.05.06) - spent the last two months of Angelina’s pregnancy in Namibia.
Brad and Angelina - who have been actively involved in the work of Third World charities - have also pledged $15,000 to build a school and a community centre in the Namibian town of Swakopmund. Namibia’s deputy Environment and Tourism Minister Leon Jooste said the generous donation will be used to improve the maternity wards of local hospitals.
The happy couple have expressed their gratitude to the local community in a statement, it read: "We want to contribute to Namibia and the people who have been so gracious to us at this time."

Her family moved to LA when Angelina was eleven and she soon began working on her acting career, enrolling in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute where ahe appeared in several productions. Despite her abilities Angelina was teased during her time at Beverley Hills High School - far from being beautiful and popular she was skinny, with glasses and braces and wore second hand clothes. At 14 she dropped out of theatre classes, harbouring dreams of becoming a funeral director, and began cutting herself. Angelina began a rebellious period of her life, moving out of home and in with her boyfriend.
At around the same time she was taken on by Finesse Model Management and took jobs in the US and Europe, she also appeared in several music videos for the likes of Meat Loaf and Lenny Kravitz. Then, at 16, she returned to acting and rekindled her relationship with her father. She appeared in several of her brother’s student films before, in 1993 she was offered a role in sci-fi flick Cyborg 2. Several equally poor productions followed before Angelina landed a role in Hackers, which was a cult hit and threw the actress in the direction of Jonny Lee Miller, whom she would soon marry.
Little known films such as Foxfire and Mojave Moon followed but it was the Golden Globe winning George Wallace that got Angelina noticed and Pushing Tin, which co-starred Billy Bob Thornton and The Bone Collector helped her on her way to global stardom. However it was her part as messed up teenager Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted which won her her place on the Hollywood walk of fame. The role won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress as well as several other accolades.
Action movies Gone In 60 Seconds and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider followed and made sure Angelina was admired the world over by men and women alike. Meanwhile her personal life became just as fascinating than her on screen performances. Having divorced Jonny Lee Miller she married Pushing Tin costar Billy Bob Thornton, famously they wore vials of blood around their neck, however in 2003 they also divorced despite having adopted a Cambodian orphan, Maddox. At the same time she admitted she had had a relationship with a female costar on the set of Foxfire. Meanwhile she continued with her now much publicised humanitarian work, as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN and her film career, appearing in Alexander and Taking Lies among others.
In 2005 Angelina took a leading role in Mr & Mrs Smith, opposite Brad Pitt. Although the movie itself was widely panned the burgeoning relationship between Angelina and Brad, who was at the time in the process of splitting from Jennifer Aniston, made sure it was a hit. The relationship was also a success, in January 2006 Angelina announced that she was pregnant, just months after adopting second child, Ethiopian Zahara, she gave birth to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Angelina has confirmed that she is working on a screen adaptation of Beowulf, A Mighty Heart and Atlas Shrugged.
