Another row over the safety of her son - May 16, 2020
Britney Spears is at the centre of another row over the safety of her son - after allegedly flouting baby car-seat rules again. The pop princess - who faced outrage after driving with Sean Preston on her knee earlier this year - was seen motoring through Malibu with the baby allegedly "lolling about" in his child seat.
It has sparked fears the eight-month-old tot was not properly strapped into his chair. An onlooker told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He didn’t look properly strapped in at all. There certainly didn’t appear to be any restraints on his shoulders." Pat Bentley, of UK charity Roadpeace, said: "The child does not seem to be secured properly. "There should be straps across the shoulders - but the way his shoulder is slumped forward, it appears there are no such straps." According to The Sun newspaper, the baby was also facing forwards, despite the fact California police suggest tots under 12 months should travel in backwards-facing seats.
Meanwhile, the singer - who recently announced she was expecting her second baby with husband Kevin Federline - has denounced Kabbalah. Britney, who was introduced to the mystical religion by pop diva Madonna, has written a note on her website, www.britneyspears.com, saying her son is her new faith. It reads: "I no longer study Kaballah, my baby is my religion."
Britney Spears is pregnant again - May 10, 2020
The ’Sometimes’ singer announced that she is expecting her second child live on US TV. She told ’The Tonight Show’ host David Letterman on Tuesday (09.05.06): "Don’t worry, Dave, it’s not yours." To which he replied: "Oh. Well, I think that’s good news for both of us."
Britney already has one son, Sean Preston, with husband Kevin Federline. The toddler was born last September - almost exactly a year after the 24-year-old singer and wannabe-rapper tied the knot. Kevin already has two children - Kori and Kaleb - with his former girlfriend, Shar Jackson, who he dumped for the ’Toxic’ singer.
The impending birth means Spears will have to further delay her pop comeback, despite recently revealing that she planned to release new material this year. She said: "I’m going to get back to work, but I’m going to do it with definite balance for my baby because I want him to have the best of both worlds."
Meanwhile, the young mum has taken time out to promote her new fragrance, In Control. At the launch, Britney - who already has two successful scents to her name, Curious and Fantasy - said: "This perfume is for empowered girls who want to take over the world - forget about the men!" She added: "As I get older, the names go with my age."
Britney refuses to fund her husband’s wild lifestyle - May 9, 2020
Britney Spears has refused to fund her husband’s wild lifestyle anymore. The ’Toxic’ singer - who is rumoured to be pregnant with her second child - is tired of Kevin Federline partying with her hard-earned cash.
A friend of the singer said: "Kevin asked Britney for money to go to Las Vegas in two weeks, but she shut him down. "Britney told him that she won’t be funding his trips with his friends any longer - he used to fly everyone out on her dime.
The friend added to America’s New York Post newspaper: "The monthly allowance she had put him on seems to be disappearing after only one week." The couple’s spokespeople have so far refused to comment on the reports.

During the early years of her career Britney made millions thanks to merchandising deals and successful hits. But she faced controversy throughout with rumours of plastic surgery and feuds with other stars. Her third album, which saw her take a sexier and more adult turn, was a relative disappointment while her critically panned but box office friendly debut movie Crossroads was a fleeting highlight. Meanwhile her long relationship with Justin Timberlake came to an end in 2002 amid claims that her reputation as a virgin was false and in fact that she had cheated on the N*Sync star?Britney responded by sharing a kiss with idol Madonna on stage at the MTV Awards ? an act which saw the pair criticized more than admired.
The kiss signaled the end of Britney?s pop-childhood and with the release of In The Zone and the hit single Toxic she began building a new fanbase. A drunken Las Vegas wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander ended in annulment after just fifty five hours but, rather than concentrate on her career, Britney continued leaning on the lovelife self destruct button. She, despite advice to the contrary, married dancer, aspiring rapper and all round rat-faced bad boy Kevin Federline in a trailer trash wedding in 2004 and within months announced she was pregnant.
Having given birth to son, Sean Preston, Britney seems to have put her career on hold despite the success of a greatest hits album and the launch of her fragrance, Curious. Meanwhile rumours persist about the state of her marriage to Federline with the press accusing him of taking no interest in his wife and son and of cheating on the singing star.
