Yesterday, reports suggested Britney had been getting cosy with former Saved By The Bell actor Mario Lopez.

She filed for divorce from Kevin last month after two years of marriage - and apparently, he’s not having such a good time.

It seems Fed-Ex, as he’s now become known, has been bombarding his former missus with a barrage of apologetic text messages and phonecalls.

The source added: "She can’t take his anger and tearful apologies. He is obsessed, constantly typing away in a bid to win her back."

Britney Spears has apparently moved on from Kevin Federline, just weeks after she filed for divorce.

However, her taste in men doesn’t appear to have improved...

According to the Sun, newly-single Britney has been spotted cosying up to US actor Mario Lopez, best known in the UK as AC Slater on teen series Saved By The Bell.

He also appeared on The Bold And The Beautiful and, most recently, Dancing With The Stars.

Britney and Mario were spied chatting to each other at the Moon nightclub in Las Vegas at the weekend.

An onlooker told the Sun: "They were obviously together. They were staring into each other’s eyes and laughing a lot. They even held hands when they thought nobody was watching."

But mother-of-two Britney, 24, should know the handsome Latino apparently has a history as a bit of a love-rat.

Mario, 33, married his actress girlfriend Ali Landry in 2004 and the marriage lasted just two weeks before it was annulled, allegedly because he has unfaithful.

At least Mario and Britney have short marriages in common - her marriage to Kevin Federline lasted two years, but her first, to Jason Alexander, was annulled after just 55 hours.

Britney Spears’ eagerly-awaited return to the spotlight has apparently suffered a slight setback, with US reports suggesting the pop princess has been snubbed by US Vogue.

According to Star magazine, the newly-single singer recently approached the upmarket fashion magazine eager for them to print the first official photos of her with two-month-old second son, Jayden James.

"She really wanted the photos to run in Vogue, but they turned her down," a source tells the Star.

"She’s now reconsidering her options."

Britney, 24, graced the cover of US style bible Vogue at the peak of her career back in 2001 and is said to be a huge fan of the publication, but despite splitting from her much-maligned husband Kevin Federline last week, she clearly has her work cut out in order to regain her once-polished public image.

Last year, Britney chose the weekly tabloid magazine, People, to introduce first son, Sean Preston, but would reportedly now prefer a monthly glossy title to help re-launch her stalled career.

"She’s been offered 2 million dollars by another publication," says the source, adding that the star hasn’t decided whether to accept the offer.
