Coleen McLoughlin has never tried to be anything but one of the girls.  So it’s no surprise to hear that she’s gone and done what most of us do when we’re on holiday and gorged herself silly on fatty foods.  Ok, Coleen tucked in to her supersized Maccy D meals in St Tropez but junk’s junk and the WAG managed to put on half a stone.  And forget private trainers and silly celeb diets, good old Coleen’s joining the queue for the scales at Weightwatchers to help her shift those extra pounds and squeeze back in to those Gucci dresses.  During her last spell at the top slimming club Coleen won herself a gold star and no doubt she’ll be adding another to the Rooney-McLoughlin fridge door this time.

Who would you pick to captain you if you were building a team of Super-WAGs?  Forget Vicky Beckham, we’d definately choose girl-after-our-own-hearts Coleen McLoughlin.  Which is exactly what her fellow wives and girlfriends did when asked to appear on BBC’s Test The Nation.  Anne Robinson no doubt has a few insults and sly remarks up her sleeve in readiness for the quiz show but we reckon those GCSEs were recent enough to come in quite handy.

Coleen McLoughlin and her family have been the victims of a vicious attack by vandals outside their home in Liverpool’s Croxteth. The family’s three cars were vandalised just hours after Coleen appeared on Tonight With Trevor McDonald speaking about children’s hospice charities and her own disabled sister, Rosie. Among the cars were a people carrier adapted for Rosie’s use and a VW Golf belonging to Wayne Rooney. Merseyside police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Coleen McLoughlin has reportedly secured £3m to become the new face of Asda’s clothing ranges. Originally she was supposed to appear alongside boyfriend Wayne Rooney in the campaign but since his foot injury he has passed the work to England team mate Michael Owen. Coleen is to front the new Must Have fashion range which will be made up of catwalk copies and monthly changing celebrity inspired trends. With this deal and those she has with Nike and LG Coleen is now more bankable than Victoria Beckham ... not bad for a schoolgirl from Liverpool.

Wayne Rooney has denied hitting Colleen McLoughlin in a Cheshire club. Reports that the footballer slapped his fiancée in full view of revellers have been splashed all over the papers but Wayne’s people have released a statement saying that although the two did argue "they left together and spent the night together."

According to reports Colleen McLoughlin has been slapped by fiancé Wayne Rooney in a Cheshire night club. Onlookers say the pair were letting their hair down at Bransingamen’s night club in Alderley Edge, just a few miles away from their Cheshire home when they began arguing. Fellow revellers have told papers that Wayne ’grabbed her by the hair and slapped her,’ before she fled the club as he was held back by friends. Rumour has it the argument had something to do with those age old hooker rumours.
