Gwyneth Paltrow is worried about losing her post-baby weight - Aug 11, 2020
The ’Shakespeare In Love’ actress says that although she was less stressed after giving birth to son Moses in April than she was after having daughter Apple, she still hates carrying the extra weight. She revealed during a Harper’s Bazaar interview: "The first time, you are horrified. It’s all lovely when you are pregnant. But when you are not pregnant and you haven’t been for a couple of months and you are still carrying tons of extra weight and everything’s all hanging and sagging, you think, ’How is this ever going to go back?’
"But it does. If you do a lot of working out."
The 33-year-old also said breast feeding was the best way to lose the weight she gained during pregnancy. She added: "With Apple I kept the extra 20 pounds on until she was three months old, and then it came off. And that’s exactly what’s happening now. I have been working out, but not dieting, because I am a milk machine."
The actress - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - admitted she no longer follows a strict alcohol-free macrobiotic diet. She said: "I come downstairs, pour myself a glass of red wine and sit in the garden."
Gwyneth laughed off reports she had regained her gorgeous figure, joking, "You should see the cellulite on my thighs right now."
Gwyneth Paltrow is considering surgery to help fix her post-baby figure - Aug 7, 2020
The Oscar winning actress gave birth to her second child, son Moses, four months ago but is worried about the effect motherhood has had on her figure.
Gwyneth told an old friend: “My stomach is rippling, my breasts don’t feel good. I’ve been trying to work out. I want to do something about it.”
The ‘Shallow Hal’ star went on to discuss surgery with her American friend, herself a mother, who was visiting London. Gwyneth’s pal recommended post-pregnancy surgery that helped her to lose 24 inches from all over her body.
Gwyneth asked: “Can you get that in New York?”
Her friend replied “Sure. And you wouldn’t get hassled about it in New York.”
Gwyneth, wife of Coldplay’s Chris Martin, is a vegan, teetotal, and eats a strict macrobiotic diet. She also loves yoga and tries to do it as much as possible. While she lunched with her friends at a pub in North London the actress nibbled on salad and drank water.
The ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress has not worked since she fell pregnant with her two-year-old daughter Apple.
Gwyneth Paltrow has given birth to a baby boy - Arpil 11, 2006
The screen beauty and husband Chris Martin welcomed the new addition, who they have named Moses, into the world at the weekend. The star’s representative has confirmed the happy news. Her spokeswoman said: "Mum and baby are both doing well. I’m sure they are ecstatic."
Gwyneth, who already has a two-year-old daughter, Apple, has previously admitted she wants a big family. She recently said: "I would like to have a whole bunch of children. "I don’t mind girls or boys. My mother gets upset because I say I want all girls because Apple is so fabulous."

The Paltrows moved to Manhattan, New York when Gwyneth was 11 years old, where she would watch her Tony award-winning mother perform at theatre festivals, inspiring the young Gwyneth to become an actress herself, an ambition which resulted in a starring role in a production of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Gwyneth returned to Los Angeles in order to attend the University of California in Santa Barbara as an art history major. While her first film role was in the 1991 film Shout, with John Travolta, her big break came along when she went out one night with her father and family friends Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
Big league director Spielberg was in the process of casting for his film Hook and that night, he offered Gwyneth the role of Wendy, which she instantly accepted. After her role in Hook, also starring Robin Williams and Julia Roberts, she was cast as the lead in the 1992 mini-series Cruel Doubt.
The budding actress’ resume was soon filling up, with roles in Malice, Flesh and Bone, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Jefferson in Paris, and Moonlight and Valentino. Although audiences were beginning to take notice of Gwyneth, the film that threw her into the spotlight was her role as Brad Pitt’s girlfriend in the thriller Seven, which is where the highly photogenic couple met and fell in love. For a while anyway.
Following this she worked on films including The Pallbearer, Great Expectations, Sliding Doors and A Perfect Murder, although her star status was really confirmed when she accepted the Best Actress Oscar in (some say fake) floods of tears.
After a brief hiatus, Gwyneth returned to the big-screen in the beautifully shot The Talented Mr. Ripley, as Jude Law’s good-hearted girlfriend. And since has filmed Shallow Hal, Sylvia and View From The Top. Following a move to swanky Belgravia where she spends time drinking herbal tea, following a macrobiotic diet and doing Yoga with best mates Madonna and Stella McCartney, Gwynnie fell in love with Coldplay singer Chris Martin who she secretly married late in 2003 while preganant with his baby, which is due this summer.
