The starlet was recently seen at Toronto Film Festival promoting latest Latino blockbuster El Cantante alongside Marc who also stars in the film. The duo wed in June 2004 and now feel the time is right to become parents.

Last month during an interview, she admitted: "I do so want to be pregnant, a baby would be just so perfect. "I’m ready, I’m waiting - and I want it to happen as soon as it possibly can."

Last week, pop singer Jesse McCartney claimed J.Lo was pregnant during an interview on US radio station Star 94, saying it was the reason she pulled out of the new ’Dallas’ movie.
However, he has now withdrawn his remark. In a statement released by his record company, McCartney, 19, said: "I have no first hand knowledge whether Jennifer Lopez is pregnant or not. I thought I had read it somewhere. I apologize."

A representative for Lopez has also refuted McCartney’s claim, saying: "She is 100 percent not pregnant."

Jennifer Lopez is pregnant, a close friend has claimed. Former ’American Idol’ star Jess McCartney let the news slip during an interview with Atlanta radio station, Star 94 on Thursday (24.08.06). When the ’Right Where You Want Me’ singer was asked why Jennifer had pulled out of her new movie ’Dallas’ he responded: "She didn’t get fired. She’s pregnant." As soon as he realised what he said, the 19-year-old turned to his personal assistant and asked: "Was I not supposed to say anything?"

J.Lo - who is married to singer Marc Anthony - recently admitted she is desperate to start a family and had started eating spinach to make her more fertile. On her doctor’s recommendations, the Latin star has allegedly been eating the leafy vegetable three times a day to boost her intake of folic acid and increase her chances of conception.

She said: "Since my doctor recommended it I’ve been on spinach omelettes for breakfast, spinach salad for lunch and sautéed spinach with every dinner. I guess if the spinach doesn’t help me conceive, I’ll still end up with Popeye-sized muscles."

A man has admitted trying to trying to sell Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’ s stolen wedding video back to the couple for $1 million. Appearing before Manhattan’s Supreme Court on Wednesday (14.06.06), Tito Moses, 31, confessed to the crime after it was revealed he negotiated with a person he thought was a representative for the couple.

However, the representative was in fact an undercover detective. The court heard how the video was of the couple’s nuptials - which took place in June 2004 - was saved on a laptop computer in Anthony’s car when it was stolen in Linden, New Jersey, last October (05). The vehicle was later found in Newark but the computer was missing.

Prosecutors claim the detective met with Moses and his alleged accomplice, Steven Wortman, in a diner to discuss handing over the portable computer. Having refused to pay the $1 million ransom, the officer negotiated the asking price down to $250,000. It was then that the two men were arrested. Although Moses has admitted grand larceny, his co-defendant, Wortman, 49, denies being involved. Justice Bonnie Wittner has told Moses he will be jailed for between 18 months and three years after pleading guilty. The case against Wortman continues.
