The 18-year-old blonde’s family are also said to be unhappy with her choice of partner. A source told the Daily Mirror: "Things don’t look good for Joss and Beau. She’s away touring with the Stones, which is great for her career but not so good for her relationship. And the promise ring Beau gave her has been oddly missing from her left hand." Beau gave Joss the ring - which is encrusted with diamonds and purple gems - as a symbol of their relationship when she was 16.
She moved into his home in California a year later. But her family wish she would spend more time at home in Devon with them instead of living in LA with the 25-year-old. A source said: "Beau’s been pushing her to concentrate on her career. "He makes her put work before her family."
Joss has revealed her half brother is a convicted armed robber - Oct 21, 2020
Joss Stone has revealed her half brother is a convicted armed robber. The soul sensation, who included a song about 26-year-old Daniel Skillin on her chart-topping album ’Mind, Body and Soul’, says she will always stand by her brother despite his faults.
The 19-year-old revealed: "Everybody has made mistakes in their lives. The song about him says everything I want to say. A lot has happened in his life and he has been through a lot. "I love my brother and I will stand by him forever." Daniel was sent to prison in 2000 after attempting to hold up a post office with a hammer. He escaped jail in 2003, just two months before he was due to be released, and went on the run before being cornered by police following a high speed car chase. He was given another prison sentence and was recently released.
Skillin, who has the same mother as Joss Stone, is thought to have encouraged his half-sister early in her career. The singer detailed her feelings in the track ’Daniel’, which includes the lines: "At times he comes across selfish. But he aint a bad person, this I know. "He lies, he cheats, his stealings make me cry till I stop breathing." Daniel is now living at the family home in Ashill, Devon.

Rebranded as young soul diva Joss Stone the sixteen year old burst on to the scene with a reworking of The White Stripes’ Fell In Love With A Girl, earning her critical acclaim from the notoriously hard to please music press and ensuring that her debut album The Soul Sessions went top five here in the UK.
Joss’ record company wasted no time in following up her success with a hastily released second album, Mind, Body and Soul in 2004. Made up entirely of original songs the album debuted at number one in the charts, making Joss the youngest artist to reach the spot, and spawned several popular singles including You Had Me and Don’t Cha Wanna Ride?
In 2005 the singer was presented with two Brit Awards, nominated for three Grammy Awards and appeared at massive charity concert Live8 in Hyde Park…not bad going for an eighteen year old from Devon.
