Perhaps that’s why she opted for equine transport on this occasion.

Moss Slightly Injured in Car Crash - 06/09/01
Kate Moss suffered minor injuries when the car in which she was riding hit another vehicle and plunged down a slope, her modeling agency said Thursday.

The accident occurred Thursday on a road east of London as Moss was being driven to a fashion shoot, Storm Models said. Her Range Rover hit another car and slid down a steep incline, a spokeswoman for Essex Ambulance Service said. Moss was flown to Basildon Hospital by air ambulance. She was treated for a shoulder injury and discharged. Her driver and the two occupants of the other car all were injured and taken by ambulance to Basildon Hospital. One of the men had to be cut from the wreckage, Essex Fire Service said, but none of the injuries was considered life-threatening.

Moss, 27, was discovered by a modeling scout when she was 14. She has worked for Calvin Klein, Versace, L’Oreal, Gucci, Dior and others.
