Kate’s beauty fears - April 4 2007
Kate Moss seems to have taken her exclusion from the 100 sexiest women list quite badly - she’s apparently begged old flames to reassure her that she’s still beautiful.
The supermodel was said to be devastated to discover she was thousands of votes outside the top 100 in this year’s FHM magazine list of desirable stars.
So the 33-year-old - who has dated celebs such as Johnny Depp and Lenny Kravitz - trawled through her phone book and dialled some exes to check they think she’s still got it, reports the Daily Star.
"Kate has remained friends with lots of her old flames," a source told the paper.
And although she rarely calls them, the model "needed to be told she’s still attractive by people who have fallen for her in the past," said the source.
FHM executive editor Chris Bell has said FHM readers see Kate as "past it".
"Kate’s alleged hard party lifestyle is starting to take its toll and she’s definitely starting to look a little weathered," he said. Ouch!
Moss set to miss out in ’sexy’ poll - April 2 2007
Supermodel Kate Moss is set to be booted out of a list of the world’s 100 sexiest women.
Pete Doherty’s girlfriend, whose modelling contracts are said to have earned her £7.5 million in 2006, first made the FHM magazine list 10 years ago.
The 33-year-old model for the likes of Rimmel, Burberry and Agent Provocateur was in the top 100 last year.
But Moss, who made a sensational comeback after a cocaine scandal, is thousands of votes outside of the top 100.
Last year Britney Spears had a fall from grace, missing out on the top 100 after claiming the top spot in 2004.
Those set to make the top 100 in 2007 include Keira Knightley and Factory Girl star Sienna Miller.
FHM executive editor Chris Bell said: "In the fashion world Kate is considered one of the most beautiful women, but according to FHM readers she’s past it.
"Kate’s alleged hard party lifestyle is starting to take its toll and she’s definitely starting to look a little weathered.
"Kate’s size zero look might be winning her million dollar fashion contracts, but the average guy on the street prefers someone much more womanly."
Kate is party no show? - Mar 16 2007
TopShop boss Sir Philip Green was apparently left disappointed when ultimate party girl Kate Moss failed to turn up to his birthday bash.
The billionaire is said to be hosting a £6 million, five-day knees-up for friends to celebrate his 55th birthday.
But Kate, 33, who has recently designed a range of clothes for the high street mecca, told Sir Philip that she had work commitments, reports The Sun.
An insider said: "They’ve grown increasingly close since the TopShop deal. He’ll be very disappointed she couldn’t make it."
The shopping tycoon reportedly flew his guests by private jets to a luxurious island in the Indian Ocean for a few days. The holiday will apparently end with an exclusive George Michael show.
The former Wham! singer is rumoured to be making a staggering £750,000 for performing for just an hour.

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
