A spokesperson for Katie Holmes has reportedly dismissed rumours that the Hollywood actress is pregnant.

The spokesperson confirmed Tom Cruise's wife is not expecting a second baby, telling Usmagazine.com: "She is not pregnant."

Speculation started when Katie was seen wearing a voluminous Balenciaga gown at a Berlin airport last week.

While the 28-year-old may not be expecting at the moment, a friend reportedly told the magazine that Katie is looking forward to having a sibling for one-year-old Suri in the future.

"Katie told me she wants another child with Tom. She talks about it a lot. But I do not know when exactly they plan to have another baby," the source said.

Meanwhile, could the Batman Begins actress be pounding the pavement in New York City's marathon next month?

She has been spotted jogging in Berlin, where hubby Tom is filming. If she does take to the streets, Katie will be in fine company - super-cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong will also be running.

Speculation is mounting that Katie Holmes is expecting her second child with hubby Tom Cruise.

The actress donned a loose top when she visited Bernabeu Stadium in Spain at the weekend - where she and Tom where guests of honour at David Beckham’s last game at Real Madrid - which might mean she was trying to hide a baby bump.

And a source has told The Sun: "Katie and Tom are thrilled about having another baby on the way. She is glowing with happiness."

Katie, 28, gave birth to baby Suri in April last year and she married Tom, 44, in Italy in November.

Earlier this month, when asked on US television’s Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of more children, Katie replied: "Yes, definitely."

Tom and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman have a 12-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter, and Katie told the US TV show that the role of stepmother is one she relishes.

She also said of her famous beau: "He’s a great father and so it came as no shock that when we had Suri, he was amazing with the baby."

Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes has revealed she is ready become a mother again.

When asked on US television’s Entertainment Tonight asked about the possibility of more children, the actress replied: "Yes, definitely".

Holmes, 28, gave birth to the couple’s first child, Suri, in April last year.

Cruise and his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, have a 12-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter, and Holmes said the role of stepmother is one she relishes.

"The kids are so sweet, they’re so great with Suri and she lights up when she sees them," she said. "We have so many kids in our house, there’s always this wonderful chatter and the great noise of kids."

The actress, who recently returned to work filming the movie Mad Money with Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah, said her 44-year-old husband has played a key role in making the transition to motherhood easy.
