Nicole and Liam will marry - Oct 30 2006
All Saint Nicole Appleton has confirmed she and boyfriend Liam Gallagher will tie the knot.
Although she hasn’t said when the loved-up pair will walk down the aisle, the singer says it will definitely happen.
"Absolutely yes, we will get married. Of course we will," she told The Sun.
"Things are so great between us that it will just happen when it does. We haven’t planned anything and we are really, really happy - the happiest we’ve ever been together.
"There’s no pressure from our parents to get married but when we go to friends’ weddings, I think, ’I want to do this’."
The blonde, who has been dating the Oasis rocker since 2000 and has a five-year-old son, Gene, with him, says she even refers to Liam as "husband".
"We’re pretty much married anyway and I call him my husband sometimes," she said.
"We come as a unit - where he goes, our son Gene and I go. Having children together is a bigger commitment than getting married - but we will do it."
Liam and Noel are to launch a hotel chain - Aug 30, 2020
Oasis rockers Liam and Noel Gallagher are to launch a hotel chain in America. The rock ’n’ roll siblings are reportedly planning to use titles of their smash hits as room themes in hotels located across the US, including Miami, New York and West Hollywood.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The plan is to open as many hotels as possible by the end of 2007 and name each venue Supernova Heights, after Noel’s former home in north London. They want to base rooms at one of the Miami venues around ’The Hindu Times’ song."
Liam and Noel are also said to have got some of America’s most influential financial investors interested in the project. The source added: "They will both fly to New York and meet a business developer who has worked for a string of leading property moguls, including Donald Trump." Despite the hype surrounding the plans, it appears some of Liam and Noel’s more wild ideas have not gone down well with developers.
The source explained: "Their plan to install alcohol and cigarettes in every room of their New York hotel, in honour of their track ’Cigarettes and Alcohol’ has gone down like a lead balloon because so many people are anti-smoking."
Other tracks being considered as room themes by Liam and Noel include ’Wonderwall’, ’Songbird’ and ’All Around The World’.
Everybody Needs Good Neighbours - Aug 06
If Liam Gallagher lived on your street how would you expect to be annoyed by him? All night partying? Loud music at all hours? Being threatened for getting too close? Having to look at his brother’s miserable face one too many times? Well, if rumours are to be believed Liam’s neighbours have run him out of town with complaints about the noise from his exercise bike! The rock star is reportedly heading for pastures new after one too many run ins with his fed up neighbours. Although he also claims that he’s sick of fans knowing where he lives.

This is probably because his older brother Noel was quite talented at playing the guitar and because they shared a bedroom, they often fought with each other. Liam quit school around the age of 14 and became a fence-painter. He was making about £100 a week while his former classmates stayed in school. Around the time when Liam was 19, he hooked up with an old school buddy named Paul McGuigan.
He found that Paul had a band that needed a vocalist, so he offered his services. When he joined, he changed the band’s name from "The Rain" (which was the name of a Beatles song) to "Oasis"; a name which he apparently saw on a poster in his bedroom. Liam also became the band’s song writer, along with Paul Arthurs (who was the also band’s guitarist). They only really rehearsed one day a week and didn’t get too many gigs. It was after one of their rare gigs, that Liam’s older brother Noel saw them perform. He said that their band was "utter shite" and said that he would join if he took over control of the band and wrote all of their songs. The band agreed and, well, the rest is history.
