Lily: No feud with Amy - April 12 2007
Lily Allen has denied rumours of a feud with Amy Winehouse, saying she’s "totally supportive" of her fellow songstress.
The Smile singer writes on her blog: "Every interview I do I’m getting asked how I feel about Amy.
"It’s starting to really p*** me off. I really like Amy and am totally supportive of her."
Lily, 21, who lost out to Amy for the best British female award at this year’s Brits, adds that she never gets compared to her male counterparts, like Paolo Nutini and James Morrison.
"Why do people always try and play women off against each other?
"Or why not create a rivalry between the boys? I think there is something seriously wrong with this part of our culture.
"I certainly didn’t go into music to compete against other artists, and I very much doubt anyone else does.
"What I do is what I do. And what Amy does is what Amy does," she writes.

Hell hath no fury like... Lily Allen? - Mar 14 2007
Lily Allen has a sure-fire way to get back at your ex and make him feel small, it seems - sleep with all his mates.
The outspoken singer based her hit song Smile on her split from DJ Lester Lloyd, including the oh so forgiving lyrics, "at first when I see you cry/It makes me smile".
After he sold his kiss and tell story to a Sunday newspaper, Lily revealed to the Sun her specific method of revenge at his betrayal, saying: "I slept with all his friends, actually."
She added: "He was my first love which felt really sacred. I wouldn’t have been as upset as I was if it was one of the others. I didn’t love reading about it in the papers - my grandparents didn’t either."

With early dreams of pop stardom Lily was signed to Warner Bros in 2002 thanks, in no small part, to her father. However the partnership was short lived and in 2005 she signed to the lesser known Regal. Despite reported pressure to release pop songs she instead decided to release her tracks for free download on MySpace.com. It was through the website that she found fame, becoming a true internet star before even releasing a single. The buzz created though resulted in a rush release of LDN on limited edition 7" in early 2005.
In 2006 Lily released her debut album Alright, Still to critical and public acclaim, reaching number 2 in the UK charts. She also released Smile, the track which finally launched her in to the public’s conciousness. This was followed by a full re-release of LDN.
