"It would be wonderful to come up with good convenience food which is really healthy, low calorie, organic and delicious."

The perfect wife - Apr 05
According to a close friend Arun Nayer is one lucky man. Liz’s close friend and former flatmate Birgit Cunningham says that Liz would make the perfect wife. "I think anyone would be lucky to have Liz as their wife. She was like a mother hen to the two of us who shared with her in Los Angeles. She certainly doesn’t go partying the whole time. Her big things were re-upholstering, furniture, reading and cooking," she explained.
The Hurley tapes - Apr 05
Liz Hurley has started to record all her interviews to help her avoid press criticism. Cruel comments from newspapers and magazines have hurt Liz’s feelings so much that she has decided to get more involved - even writing some articles herself. "They even wrote that my baby was ugly," she explained "I’m pretty nice, I’m far from an axe murderer, I’ve never been mean to anyone in my life."
Hotel Hurley - Mar 05
Liz Hurley has made a planning application to extend her Gloucestershire home. The model has found that eight bedrooms are not enough for her and her many glam overnight guests and that she needs more space when entertaining and so has asked for permission to convert a barn at her ?2.5m home in to a holiday cottage. Neighbours could scupper Liz’s plans if they oppose the plans but with so many celebs in the area - Kate Winslet, Kate Moss and Anne Robinson all live in the area - villagers in Ampney Crucis are probably used to ambitious home improvements.
Liz’s wedding dress - Mar 05
Rumours fly as Liz chooses wedding dress. As Liz Hurley prepares for her marriage to businessman Arun Nayer gossip columns are less interested in the when and where than who will be designing Liz’s dress. Rumour has it that the actress/model’s close friend Donatella Versace will be designing two dresses for Liz - one for a British ceremony and one for a marriage in India, Arun’s homeland. It would of course make sense for Liz to wear Versace, after all the biggest tabloid moments of her life so far have almost always seen her sporting the designer’s showy frocks.

At 21, Hurley got her first film role in the 1987 film Aria after having attended the London Studio Centre on scholarship. Hurley’s role in the film Remando al Viento that same year could be considered a crucial one, as it also starred her future boyfriend Hugh Grant.
However, despite acting and modelling jobs it was a certain safety pinned Versace frock that made Liz on of Britain’s most famous faces. She wore what would soon simply be called ’that dress’ to the premiere of Hugh’s breakthrough film Four Weddings and a Funeral. More attention followed when Estee Lauder signed Hurley to be the face of their cosmetics.
Although together for several years, even sticking together through the embarrassing Divine Brown incident, Hugh and Liz split in 2001 although they remain friends to this day. Liz had a brief fling with billionaire Steve Bing, during which she became pregnant with her son Damien. A very public battle occured during her pregnancy with Bing claiming that the child was not his. Liz found vindication when the child was born - not only was he the spit of Bing but a dna test proved without doubt what we could all see.
Liz is now engaged to Indian businessman Arun Nayer and their impending nuptuals have been the source of much speculation with several dates touted and even Hugh Grant has been suggested as Arun’s best man.
Meanwhile Liz’s career has taken a forward leap. Her acting credentials may be lousy (Bedazzled anyone?) and her stint as presenter of Project Catwalk might have been panned but the very British beauty has found her niche. Elizabeth Hurley Beach, her own range of beachwear has been flying off the shelves in the UK and US while her Estee Lauder job goes from strength to strength.
Liz splits her time between Ampney Crucis in the Cotswolds and California.
