Naomi Campbell is up in court yet again.

This time the supermodel is being sued by her former assistant who she allegedly attacked in 2001. Simone Craig claims that she was held hostage in an LA hotel and is seeking reparations of physical and emotional damage. These claims come just days after Naomi was accused of brutally beating her maid Millicent Burton at her Park Avenue home leaving her with several injuries. However, Naomi’s lawyers are countersuing Burton, claiming that she began the fight and are fighting Craig’s case.

Naomi Campbell is planning the mother of all birthday parties.

The supermodel who was 34 last weekend is holding a party in St Tropez for 800 of her closest friends and family. The party will kick off with a ’red and white’ gala (this seasons hottest colours, of course) which will see Campbell wear a specially designed Alexander McQueen dress.

Naomi wins court case - May 04
The High Court of appeals ruled that model Naomi Campbell’s privacy WAS invaded by The Mirror newspaper printing photographs of her being treated for drug addiction.

Naomi challenged the appeal to her winning the first court case in 2002 (believe me this has gone on for a long, long time). The case has cost both sides more than a million, although even now it may not be the end, as The Mirror might appeal against the appeal, although who can be possibly left to appeal to is anyone’s guess.

This ruling could be a landmark for celebrities, as the press may be restricted in what they can print about celebrities’ private lives. The ruling said that pictures can be taken in a public street as Britain is a free society, but problems can arise if it is offensive to make these pictures public. Heat magazine, take note.

Campbell Back in Court - Feb 04
Feisty supermodel Naomi Campbell has been back in court in the latest leg of her two-year legal battle with the Daily Mirror newspaper.

The statuesque beauty appeared at the House of Lords with her lawyer Andrew Caldicott to contest a court decision to strip her of ?3500 damages, originally awarded to her when the tabloid published photos of her visiting a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

She claims that the pictures infringed on her personal privacy - despite the report being confirmed as correct. Naomi, who strutted her stuff on the catwalk at Jaspers Conran’s LFW show earlier this week, is likely to cite the Data Protection Act in her defence. By Hannah Mills

Is Naomi a Broadway star? - 17/07/03
Streatham born model Naomi Campbell has been offered a starring role in the Broadway production of Chicago...

She is said to be deciding on whether or not she will accept the offer. Naomi told Glamour Magazine "I was so flattered to be asked. It would make my mum happy," she said.

Her mum Valerie was a dancer and Campbell herself was a pupil at London’s Italia Conti stage school, learning tap dancing and ballet.

I didn’t know she had that many friends! The model notorious for her temper tantrums is staging the lavish bash at the Nikki Beach resort in St Tropez this weekend.

Guests expected include Bono, Harvey Weinstein, Macy Gray, Wesley Snipes, serial model dater Prince Albert of Monaco, Linda Evangelista, Donatella Versace, Ivana Trump and Valentino.
