And, as Russell began to ask her another question, the famously private actress continued, "Let me finish that because that will be seen as a superficial answer and I don’t like to give those."
"We’ve dug really deep," she added candidly. "Three months into our marriage we had to dig really deep. And that’s what we are doing. We’re in the process of doing that."
Crowe, a long-time friend of Nicole’s, sympathised with the actress adding: "Very courageous of him to just pack up his toothbrush and go into rehab. He must have you at the very forefront of everything he’s thinking."
"You’ll make me cry now - stop it," replied Nicole, adding that she’d love to have a baby with Keith, who she wed in June 2006.
"Am I going to have a baby? I hope so," she told Russell.
Nicole Kidman crashes while filming - Jan 26 2007
Nicole Kidman was taken to a hospital after the Jaguar she was driving crashed during shooting of the science fiction thriller The Invasion, police said.
Kidman, 39, was examined then released two hours later, her publicist, Catherine Olim, said.
"I think she’s OK," Olim said, adding it was unclear whether the actress went home or returned to the set to resume shooting of the Warner Bros movie.
The Jaguar was being towed by a camera rig that skidded while taking a corner at about 45mph, causing Kidman’s car to hit a pole, Olim said.
The actress and a young boy in the car were wearing seat belts, Olim said. It was believed the young boy was a stunt person.
"The stunt driver apparently went off course and hit a (lamp) post," police officer Karen Smith said.
Eight people, including Kidman, stuntmen and cameramen, were taken to hospitals for examination and were released, Smith said.
The Oscar-winning actress stars in the film as a Washington psychiatrist who unearths the origin of an alien epidemic.
She was trying to escape zombie-like characters on the hood of the Jaguar when the crash occurred, Olim said.
Warner Bros spokeswoman Jan Craft’s office said a statement would be released later.
Keith out of rehab? - Dec 4 2006
It looks like Keith Urban’s in-patient spell in rehab may have come to an end after he was reportedly spotted out at LA’s trendy Polo Lounge having brunch with his wife, Nicole Kidman.
Nicole and her country singer husband of five months were last spotted together on November 12 as they strolled outside the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs where Keith has been undergoing treatment for alcohol abuse.
Keith checked himself in to attend a rehabilitation program on October 19 and was expected to stay for 35-40 days.
The singer’s rep told Us Weekly magazine that he is "still undergoing treatment".
Nicole and Keith, both 39, met at a Hollywood event honouring Australians in January 2005.
Though they downplayed their relationship in public, the pair were married on Sunday June 25 this year at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel Sydney.
Keith previously checked in to the Cumberland Heights rehab facility in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1998, seeking treatment for cocaine and alcohol addiction.
I’m not pregnant, says Nicole - Dec 1 2006
Nicole Kidman has denied rumours that she’s pregnant with new hubby Keith Urban’s baby, according to the Daily Mail.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is currently preparing for a new film role, said all the gossip flying around was "confusing".

Throughout the 80s Nicole picked up several parts in features as wide ranging as the soap A Country Pactrice and drama Bangkok Hilton. However her breakthrough role came in 1989’s Dead Calm which she followed up with Days of Thunder and Far and Away. The two films also starred Tom Cruise who she fell in love with during filming. The pair were married in 1990 and the relationship undoubtedly helped give Nicole and extra push in to the limelight.
However 1995’s To Die For made critics sit up and take note of Nicole’s talent. Her tongue in cheek performance proved that far from being a trophy wife she was equal if not superior in acting talent to her husband. The pair appeared on film once more, in the controversial Eyes Wide Shut, before divorcing after ten years together. It was revealed that Nicole was pregnant at the time of their split. She later miscarried. However, the couple do have two adopted children, Connor and Isabella, and remain on good terms with one another.
Following her divorce Nicole appeared to approach her work with a new enthusiasm turning out tremendous performances in The Hours (for which she won the Best Actress Oscar), Moulin Rouge and The Others which brought about rumours of professional jealousy being behind her divorce. Further films, including Dogville, The Human Stain and Cold Mountain have been equally successful while a mistake or two was made in the comedy stakes with Bewitched and The Stepford Wives. Nicole is currently working on Fur, The Visiting and The Lady From Shanghai.
In addition to her movie success she has also managed to hit the UK’s top chart spot too, at Christmas no less. Following her vocals on Moulin Rouge she duetted with Robbie Williams on the, frankly not very good, Somethin’ Stupid. And as if that wasn’t enough to keep her busy she also works tirelessly for charity which, in part, earned her Australian’s highest civilian honour, Companion of The Order of Australia.
Post Tom Nicole has been linked with Lenny Kravitz, Jude Law and Adrien Brody but in 2006 she married Aussie country star Keith Urban with whom she is rumoured to be expecting a baby.
