Luckily, Ozzy had recently fitted the house with a state-of-the-art ?2,000 fire alarm, which automatically alerted the emergency services. A Buckinghamshire Fire Service spokesman said: "The blaze was caught in the nick of time. "If we hadn’t been alerted so quickly it could have been a lot worse." Kelly was woken by firemen and escaped unhurt, however, a female employee was treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire follows a series of unlucky incidents at the property. In 2003, Ozzy spent eight days in a coma after a near-fatal quad biking accident in the grounds of the mansion, while the following year the rocker tackled a cat burglar, before the thief escaped with close to ?2 million of jewellery. In March 2005, a fire broke out in the living room of the manor as the family slept. A friend of Ozzy’s said: "He thinks the place is bloody cursed. He is wondering if a plague of locusts will be next."
Sharon claims Ozzy is a sex crazed "rabbit" - Nov 11, 2020
Sharon Osbourne claims husband Ozzy is a sex crazed "rabbit". The stunning ’X Factor’ judge claims the 57-year-old rocker can’t get enough bedroom action and needs to be satisfied every night. She said: "He’s like a f*****g rabbit, honestly. We have sex every night we’re together. Every night! Sometimes I have to tell him I am too tired, but Ozzy’s never tired."
Sharon has confessed she used to think every man had an insatiable sex drive, until she spoke to her sex-starved friends. She is quoted on website Softpedia as saying: "Since I started talking to other couples about sex as I got older, I realized that Ozzy is very highly sexed compared to a lot of them."
Ozzy doesn’t want Colin Farrell playing him in a movie of his life - Sept 05
Ozzy Osbourne doesn’t like the idea of Colin Farrell playing him in a movie of his life - because he hasn’t got a clue who the actor is. When asked what he thought of rumours suggesting the Irish hell-raiser would play him, the rocker said: "Who the f*** is Colin Farrell?" Ozzy and wife Sharon have previously recommended ’Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny Depp for the role.
Meanwhile, the former Black Sabbath frontman has revealed the best and worst rehab clinics in America. Ozzy, who has been in and out of rehab all his life, revealed to Playboy magazine: "Betty Ford is a good one. And a place called Promises, in Malibu, which is like a f***ing Hollywood camp resort for wealthy f***ing lunatics."
However, the star - whose son, Jack, and daughter, Kelly, have also spent time in rehab - wasn’t so impressed with the Hazelden centre in Minnesota. He explained: "It’s a really hard one. They do not f*** around. I checked out because it scared me. "They use a thing called tough love, where they’re like ’You f***ing piece of s***!’ I was like, ’I felt like a piece of s*** before. That’s why I am paying you all this money. You don’t need to tell me every day.’"
