The new chums spent almost the whole of Thanksgiving Week together in Los Angeles, confirming their recently-formed bond.

Britney hit the clubs throughout the week, starting with an American Music Awards after-party at Paris’ house.

The following night they even wore the same outfit, whooping it up at the newly-reopened hotspot Teddy’s.

The duo shopped in Malibu over the weekend, along with Brit’s oldest son, Sean Preston.

According to People magazine, a source says: "Paris was acting like Britney’s boyfriend. She opened doors for her, held her hand and even had her arm around Britney’s lower back."

The source continues: "Britney happily accepted Paris’ friendly gestures."

The pair have also been snapped partying in Las Vegas together.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "The girls were inseparable. Britney looked so happy. They hit the dancefloor at nightspot Tryst with a vengeance."

It seems Paris Hilton really knows how to wow an audience.

According to US singer Joshua Radin, she stepped up to the mike at a Las Vegas party - and promptly threw up.

The pretty heiress made the gaffe at a packed launch party for Jay-Z’s new album, according to The Sun.

Joshua said Paris asked the people in charge to pop on one of her records so she could perform.

"She gets up on stage, pukes, leaves. The music business is charming," he said.

Fledgling musician Josh has released two albums of indie folk music and has seen his songs played on US shows such as Scrubs.

Posh Paris seems to be desperate for a credible singing career and released her self-titled album in August 2006.

Although it received moderate reviews, Paris is yet to set the charts alight and remains best known for her role on The Simple Life and her party lifestyle.

Her debut single, Stars Are Blind, hit the UK top ten, but her follow up, Nothing In This World, bombed, entering the charts at 55.

Mean Girls writer and Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey has revealed her dislike for Paris Hilton after the socialite appeared on her sketch show.

"She’s a piece of s**t," Tina tells Howard Stern. "The people at SNL were like maybe she’ll be fun, maybe she won’t take herself so seriously. She takes herself SO seriously!

"She’s unbelievably dumb and proud of how dumb she is. She looks like a tranny close up."

And the abuse doesn’t stop there. Apparently, Paris’s idea of funny wasn’t the same as everyone else’s.

"She wanted to make fun of all the girls she hates," continues Tina. "She was like, ’I want to play Jessica Simpson, I hate her’.

"She would come in the room and say, ’You should do a show about Jessica Simpson because she’s fat’."

Not only that, but Paris refused to come out of her dressing room after hearing that the writers had written a sketch about her sex tape.

And according to Tina, even her golden locks are all they’re cracked up to be.
