It seems strutting her stuff on the catwalk was a bit too stressful for Paris Hilton. The pouting socialite apparently threw a tantrum backstage at the Heatherette show at New York Fashion Week after a photographer snapped her looking less then perfect.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 25-year-old heiress snapped "Delete that photo or I’ll take your camera" at the alarmed shutterbug. "Paris was having her hair done and wanted no one around her," a source told the paper. "When another snapper came through, she screamed, ’I said no more f***ing photos, why do you never f***king listen?’."

And it sounds as if the Simple Life beauty never recovered her composure, as she was soon moaning that security staff had misplaced her phone. "It was found... under her purse," said the source. Paris later took to the catwalk to the sounds of her own single Stars Are Blind.

Paris Hilton was arrested this morning after she was spotted in Hollywood "driving erratically", police said. The socialite was arrested on suspicion of drink driving shortly before 12.30am in Hollywood, said Officer I Isabella, who declined to give his first name. "The officers observed that Hilton exhibited the symptoms of intoxication," he said, reading from a police statement.

"A field sobriety test was conducted at scene, and the officers determined she was driving under the influence." He said officers stopped the hotel heiress because she was "driving erratically." The 25-year-old was booked on suspicion of misdemeanour DUI and released on her own recognisance, he added.

Her spokesman, Elliot Mintz, confirmed the arrest and said she had the minimum blood-alcohol level to warrant an arrest. The legal limit in California is 0.08. "She’s absolutely fine," he said. "She didn’t appear in the least bit to be intoxicated."

At the time of her arrest, Paris was driving home from a charity event where she had one drink, a margarita, he said.

A spokesman for the world famous book revealed the 25-year-old beauty, who recently released her debit single ’Stars Are Blind’, topped the poll after magazine readers voted for their least favourite and most overrated celebrity.

Other stars to make the list reportedly include Britney Spears and actor Tom Cruise.
Madonna also broke records this year for being the highest earning female singer, while former WWE wrestler The Rock has made it into the book as the highest paid actor in a debut role for ’The Scorpion King’.
