Pete given ultimatum? - April 10 2007
Pete Doherty’s Babyshambles bandmates have apparently given him an ultimatum - it’s Kate or them.
The rockers are said to be annoyed that their troubled frontman spends so much time with his supermodel girlfriend, and want him to put in more hours with the band.
They haven’t heard from Pete, 28, for two weeks and plan to confront him when he plays a show at London’s Hackney Empire tomorrow, reports the Daily Mirror.
"The band are furious at the time he’s spending with Kate," an insider told the paper.
Pete has apparently admitted he wants the catwalk queen to get involved with his music.
Last week an apparent home video of the pair became a hit on website YouTube. The three-minute clip showed Pete strumming a guitar while Kate, 33, provided the vocal accompaniment.
A spokesman for Babyshambles’ record company, Parlophone, said he had no idea how the clip had ended up on the site.
Pete moves in with Kate? - Mar 1 2007
Despite rumours they have split, the latest gossip on the Kate and Pete grapevine is that the Babyshambles singer has moved into the model’s luxurious pad.
The troubled rocker has apparently shipped his worldly possessions - including a gold disc, banjo and baby seat - into the 33-year-old’s North London home, suggesting he’s there for good.
An onlooker told the Daily Star: "It was hilarious. Pete was shifting this tatty, weird stuff in Kate’s posh house, which must be worth millions and kitted out with expensive fixtures and fittings. Talk about rags to riches!"
A source says if Pete’s gold disc, which marked 100,000 sales of the band’s debut album Down In Albion, is at Kate’s, the singer is sure to be there too.
A source added: "Wherever that disc is, Pete is. If he’s moved it into Kate’s it means he’s staying permanently."
The insider added: "Before, Kate kicked him out whenever they had a bust-up - but now it looks like he’s in for good."
Jail warning for Pete - Feb 13 2007
Pete Doherty has been warned that he faces jail if he drives without a licence again.
The 27-year-old star appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court charged with driving without insurance and an appropriate licence.
Several young female fans watched from the gallery as the singer admitted both charges.
The charges related to an incident on November 18 when officers saw the Babyshambles frontman driving his blue Jaguar rapidly in east London.
Tanyia Dogra, prosecuting, said: "On November 18 Mr Doherty was driving the blue Jaguar in question. He was asked to produce the documents and he could not do so."
Sean Curran, defending, said: "Mr Doherty accepts that he was driving with no licence and insurance. He had left the task of getting an insurance policy in the hands of one of his managers, who hadn’t done so.
"He has passed a driving test but he has never applied for a licence. He doesn’t have a licence, or has ever had one, but he is entitled to have one."
He added: "He was driving to the airport for a trip to Portugal to get an implant."
The singer was fined a total of £300 and was banned from driving for two months. He was also ordered to pay £55 costs.

A long and drawn out battle with drugs, an especially fiery relationship with Croydon’s favourite daughter and any number of bust ups and arrests has made the singer/songwriter one of Britain’s most recognisable faces (all be it a screwed up, sweaty zombie face).
Born on March 12 1979 in Hexham, Northumberland and living at various times in Liverpool, Shepherd’s Bush, Coventry, Dorset, Cyprus and Russia, Pete Doherty first came to the public’s attention as one half of the singing songwriting duo who fronted Britain’s must see band, The Libertines, who kick started the country’s new garage rock scene in 2002/03.
Debauched backstage shenanigans and frantic but brilliant shows saw The Libertines hit the headlines time and time again and their debut album, Up The Bracket, shot up the charts. However, the band’s success was to be short lived and numerous problems, between Pete and the rest of the band (specifically with best friend Carl Barat - the pair met when they became flatmates in Stoke Newington) saw them part ways but not before Pete hit the headlines for drink and drug problems which caused him to steal from his bandmates to feed his habit.
It was around this time that Lisa Moorish gave birth to Doherty’s child, Astile but, rather than settling down Pete carried on taking heroin, selling his ’My Drug Hell’ stories to any and every tabloid to pay for his out of control habit before being put in to several rehab clinics (including a Thai monastery), none of which have changed his ways.
Nonetheless he has managed to forge a career on his own, first working with Wolfman on For Lovers then forming Babyshambles, initially as a way to make money for.you guessed it! Now trying to get clean with the aid of Naltroxene after an arrest for assault, which resulted in some jail time as well as a curfew and constant supervision Pete is reportedly set to marry supermodel Kate Moss.
