Kate and Pete are planning to start a new life in America - Nov 24, 2020
Kate Moss and Pete Doherty are reportedly planning to quit England to start a new life in America. The troubled pair are allegedly considering living in the US so they can recover from their drug addictions away from their old friends and haunts. The couple are thinking about moving after Babyshambles rocker Pete leaves the US rehab centre where he is being treated. The wild star is said to be in the same clinic Kate checked into in the wake of her cocaine scandal - after she vowed she wouldn’t rekindle their romance unless he quit drugs.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Pete has finally decided to ditch drugs for good - and it’s all thanks to Kate. She laid down an ultimatum that she would only see him again if he got clean. "They’re madly in love but Kate knows if they stay around all their old pals it will be easy to slip back into old habits. So America is definitely an option for them."
Last month it was claimed the catwalk queen had been looking at apartments in New York. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper at the time: "Kate has been badly shaken by events of the last couple of months. She will miss her family but she thinks it might be better to live away from Britain for a while."
Kate has ditched Pete - Sept 05
Kate Moss has ditched her junkie lover Pete Doherty. The supermodel reportedly ended her romance with the Babyshambles frontman for the sake of her career and her two-year-old daughter, Lila Grace. A friend of Kate’s is quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying: "She loves him to death but knows she is on a self destruction trip if she doesn’ t cut him loose." The stunning model reportedly dumped the wild rocker before he jetted off to join his band in Ibiza.
A source revealed: "Family and friends have told her to get Pete out of her life right away. She told him before he went to Ibiza they had to walk away. Pete won’t accept it. "Kate does not want to do it but she knows deep down she has to." The break up comes just days after shocking images of the catwalk queen snorting cocaine with Doherty looking on were printed in a newspaper. Kate was shown inhaling a chunky line of the white powder through a rolled up banknote while Doherty recorded in a London studio. The cover girl - who has always denied using hard narcotics like cocaine - is also seen crushing and chopping lines of cocaine on a CD cover.
Pete stopped by customs officers in Norway - Aug 05
Kate Moss’ boyfriend Pete Doherty underwent a humiliating strip-search after being stopped by customs officers in Norway. The drug addled singer, who earlier this month rekindled his on-off romance with the stunning supermodel, was grabbed by officials at Gardermoen Airport as soon as he got off the plane to be checked for drugs. Pete - who had flown into the Scandinavian country for a performance at Oya Festival, in Oslo - was then stripped naked, allegedly searched internally and thrown in a cell for three hours. A source said: "Pete was given a thorough search by the officers. He got the full rubber-glove treatment. " The search meant Pete, and his band Babyshambles, missed their slot at the festival - finally arriving on stage five hours late.

A long and drawn out battle with drugs, an especially fiery relationship with Croydon’s favourite daughter and any number of bust ups and arrests has made the singer/songwriter one of Britain’s most recognisable faces (all be it a screwed up, sweaty zombie face).
Born on March 12 1979 in Hexham, Northumberland and living at various times in Liverpool, Shepherd’s Bush, Coventry, Dorset, Cyprus and Russia, Pete Doherty first came to the public’s attention as one half of the singing songwriting duo who fronted Britain’s must see band, The Libertines, who kick started the country’s new garage rock scene in 2002/03.
Debauched backstage shenanigans and frantic but brilliant shows saw The Libertines hit the headlines time and time again and their debut album, Up The Bracket, shot up the charts. However, the band’s success was to be short lived and numerous problems, between Pete and the rest of the band (specifically with best friend Carl Barat - the pair met when they became flatmates in Stoke Newington) saw them part ways but not before Pete hit the headlines for drink and drug problems which caused him to steal from his bandmates to feed his habit.
It was around this time that Lisa Moorish gave birth to Doherty’s child, Astile but, rather than settling down Pete carried on taking heroin, selling his ’My Drug Hell’ stories to any and every tabloid to pay for his out of control habit before being put in to several rehab clinics (including a Thai monastery), none of which have changed his ways.
Nonetheless he has managed to forge a career on his own, first working with Wolfman on For Lovers then forming Babyshambles, initially as a way to make money for.you guessed it! Now trying to get clean with the aid of Naltroxene after an arrest for assault, which resulted in some jail time as well as a curfew and constant supervision Pete is reportedly set to marry supermodel Kate Moss.
