Jordan and Peter Andre have named their baby daughter Princess Tiaamii.

Tiaamii - pronounced tee-ah-me - is taken from the names of Peter's mother Thea and Jordan's mother Amy.

Glamour model Jordan - real name Katie Price - explained to OK! magazine: "Her name is Princess Tiaamii. Princess because she is our princess and Tiaamii was Pete's idea because it's taken from our mums' names.

"We've put an accent over the first 'a' to make it a bit more exotic and two 'i's at the end just to make it look a bit different.

"We love it because it's unique, plus it means something special to us. I'm going to get a tattoo on the back of my neck with a crown and 'Princess' underneath."

Singer Peter added: "Katie always loved the name Princess but everyone thought it was a bit over the top. I loved it too but I wanted to name her after both our mums and then I just woke up one morning and thought 'I know! We'll just put them together!'.

"If people don't like it, that's up to them. We're really happy and proud."

Princess is the couple's first daughter. She was born three weeks ago and Jordan nicknamed her Bunny.

The glamour model turned novelist considered calling the baby Tinkerbell, she revealed, but rejected it as too many celebrities have chosen it for their dogs.

Jordan and Peter Andre have revealed they are expecting a girl.

The couple, who already have sons Harvey and Junior, they are delighted at the news.

The pair have had a run of bad luck this year after Harvey scalded his leg and Pete spent time in hospital with meningitis. Last week, Harvey was admitted into hospital again - after having an accident with a mirror.

The model, whose real name is Katie Price, told OK! magazine: "Something good’s happened finally! I kind of feel like I won’t believe it until she’s born healthy though. We’re over the moon and in shock.

"We’ve had such a s*** year and Pete’s been wanting to know the sex all the way through so I thought, you know what, let’s find out!"

Pete added: "It was better than we ever expected. I mean, we were really excited if it was going to be a boy, but this is off the scale."

Jordan admitted she can’t wait to dress her new daughter up.

She added: "I’m really looking forward to going out and buying all pink stuff and making her room girly and pink!"

Peter Andre has told how proud he is of his wife Jordan for coping whilst he was ill in hospital.

The heavily pregnant model was left looking after the couple’s two children, Harvey and Junior, when Pete was struck down with meningitis.

Speaking in his new column Planet Pete for New! magazine, he said: "I know people think that Kate and I have really bad luck, but being in hospital made me realise that I love her more than ever. We’ve stuck together in sickness and in health and that what being married is all about.
