Sharon, who has three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack, with wild rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has also ridiculed Madonna’s children’s books, which are based on the teachings of the mystic Jewish faith Kabbalah. She told Word magazine: "Writing those painful, silly children’s books and reading them to your kids - if my mum came up to me with a book like that I’d say, ’F***ing stick it up you’re a***.’ F***ing ’English Roses’ - b*****ks."

This is not the first time Sharon has attacked Madonna - last month she said she wanted to "punch" the pop superstar because she was "full of sh*t."

Sharon Osbourne has confessed she has been suffering from bulimia for 35 years. The 52-year-old wife of wild rocker Ozzy Osbourne admits she still battles with the eating disorder, which causes her to binge on food before making herself vomit. The mother-of-three revealed: "I’m still bulimic. It’s bad. I stuff myself with food like ice cream or pasta and the rush to the toilet and make myself sick. "Ozzy and the children know and they get so upset with me. They are terrified for me."

Sharon admits she has always struggled with her weight and says she was once so fat her son Jack had to push her up the stairs. She told The Sun newspaper: "I was so fat I couldn’t get up the stairs. Jack used to have to push me up with one hand on each butt cheek while I yanked myself up with the rail." The ’X Factor’ judge - who lost half her body weight after having her stomach stapled - now sees a therapist regularly, and claims she has cut down on her vomiting from four times a day to just once a week. She said: "It’s a huge improvement."

Sharon Osbourne has admitted cutting the power during Iron Maiden’s Ozzfest performance. Despite previously denying ruining the band’s set, the feisty star has now confessed she cut their sound after lead singer Bruce Dickinson slammed her husband, Ozzy. She revealed: "I did cut the sound. Ozzfest is our tour. Dickinson doesn’t have the manners to realise that when you are invited into someone’s home, are seated at their dinner table, are eating their food and drinking their wine, you shouldn’t talk disrespectfully about them. Otherwise, you just might get you’re a** handed to you. Every action has a reaction.

Biography

Born Sharon Rachel Levy to media mogul Don Arden and his wife Hope, Sharon first met husband to be Ozzy Osbourne at the age of seventeen, whilst working as a receptionist for her father. When Ozzy was fired from his band, Black Sabbath, in 1979 Sharon leapt at the chance to represent him as a solo artist. It was Sharon who coordinated a comeback for Ozzy, eventually making him one of the world’s premier metal acts.

Sharon also worked her magic on acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Coal Chamber and Motorhead, there are also rumours that she briefly worked with Queen but was sacked by Freddie Mercury.

During their long hours together Sharon and Ozzy fell in love and, in 1982, they were married in Hawaii. However, it hasn’t all been romance for Sharon, she has stuck by her husband through his drink and drugs problems, which came to a head when her husband tried to strangle her. Despite everything Sharon has stood by her man and turned her family into a hugely successful media product.

In 2002 The Osbournes aired on MTV. The show followed the lives of Sharon, Ozzy, son Jack and daughter Kelly as well as their legion of pets as they went through day to day life in California. An immediate hit The Osbournes immediately launched the family in to the limelight like never before and when Sharon was diagnosed with cancer during the making of the series she insisted filming continue.

Despite the bad luck that came with the series - both Jack and Kelly developed problems with drink and drugs during that time - there has been a silver lining for Sharon. Ok, so her self titled talk show wasn’t the hugest success in the US but her role as judge on The X Factor has launched Sharon to a whole new audience while the UK version of her talk show garnered a respectable amount of viewers.

Elsewhere Sharon has set up top rock festival Ozzfest and published her autobiography, Extreme, which sensationally revealed the levels of plastic surgery she has undergone, including lap-band surgery (which reduces the size of the stomach) and detailed her ongoing battle with bulimia. However, it is her outspoken ways which have seen Sharon hit the headlines time and time again, from hitting out at Chris Tarrant to a fued with Iron Maiden, via bitchy comments to Rebecca Loos and a neverending argument with fellow X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
